Family-friendly holiday rentals in Givet

Well equipped accommodation for large groups. The accommodation is very large, it's nice to spend some time there. Close to Han Caves and on the occasion of the holidays close to the Christmas market. We had a nice stay there and recommend it.

Had a lovely time staying at this place! We very much enjoyed the lovely beds, jacuzzi and barbecues; highly recommended as far as we are concerned!

The place was as described and in a good, clean condition. We found the correct address from other reviews and then the accommodation was also easy to find. The accommodation is quietly located next to other houses, but you hardly heard of them. Only the surrounding agriculture could be heard and smelled. But not disturbing. There was ample space for 7 adults, swimming pool and jacuzzi were clean and in good condition. The grill was fixed and fired with coal. We brought these ourselves. The bedding cost 80 euros for the entire property - double beds were covered with one blanket each. Check-in was easily possible via a key box and thus the arrival was flexible. We felt very comfortable at the place and found everything you need for a long weekend. There was no trace of the flies mentioned in other reviews (in early September). Everything was fine!

I will start by thanking Muriel's warm and friendly welcome and highlighting his flexibility with booking until the day before our arrival. The cottage is certainly located in the city center but there is parking nearby. The same goes for shops and the many walks in the area. The cottage is comfortable and in the event of any problems, the host is in the process of prevention. We had a great time in 2022 at 2023. We recommend this cottage and its host.

There were four of us in Marie-Claire's house and had a lovely stay for a few quiet days and due to the convenient location, opportunity for excursions in the region. The house is very clean and extensively equipped, there is everything you could need. Marie-Claire is a friendly hostess and very accessible.

A beautiful, rustic, spacious accommodation where it is very cozy to stay. Ideal for a Christmas weekend with the whole family. A huge plus is that the recreation room (with bar, foosball, darts and pool table) is separated from the dining area. The separate washroom (2 pissoirs and 2 toilets) ensures that you should not disturb the early sleepers by looking for one of the many bathrooms. You can then relax again in the living room with a lot of seating or in the jacuzzi/sauna. The kitchen offers enough amenities to prepare the necessary meals. The bedrooms are spacious and diverse in terms of layout so that everyone can be classified with his/her favorite roommates. After a satisfying walk through the beautiful surroundings (including many hiking trails), don't forget to visit the opposite local restaurants "Auberge le Vieux Moulin" for a local local beer.

we had a great time. there are plenty of walks leaving and the valley is beautiful. definitely worth a visit!

What a nice house! After the warm welcome, we felt right at home. Nice decor and good beds and shower. And then the garden. What a space for the dogs and for us. We have been able to hike a lot in a very varied landscape. They all start within walking distance of the house. By train you can also go to Dinant. You will be in this special city in no time. We'd love to come!

Such a lovely place! Recommendations

We had a wonderful New Year's weekend at Leo&Caroll. The stay is perfect for 8 people. The rooms are spacious, cozy and equipped with everything you need. The kitchen with dining space was the cutest place for us. The view is beautiful and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare an extensive dinner. We also took a nice walk, the area has a lot to offer. We would definitely recommend this place to others. Thank you so much Leo&Caroll!

We had a great time at the cottage. Everything is impeccable. The places are amazing!! The renovation of this old building is splendid. There are a lot of games and activities for young and old. The surroundings of the house are very nice. We were there with 4 families with young children and all had a really nice time. I have nothing negative to say I recommend it.

Corinne's place is perfect for two as much as a small family. It is very tidy and clean. Corinne was available during and even before our stay.

With 6 adults, 2 children 1 baby and 4 dogs, we could not have wished for a better stay. A lovely house, where the BBQ, hot tub and fireplace were really super rated. Groceries are a short drive away (to France), a large intermarche, so really easy. Only it was closed on Sunday, so we discovered a super bakery. After reading reviews about shower, we left some more time between our showers and that went well. Do bring slippers or easy shoes for inside and boots for outside, it was a bit muddy:) All in all: we had a great time and highly recommend it. a 12!!!!!

The accommodation is really very well renovated, and very warm. The mix of stones and wood gives a really nice little trapper hut. A small functional kitchen, a nice little living room. The bathroom is fine with a walk in shower, and the bedroom is spacious. The view is great and right on the Meuse, and lots of nice walks are available to us. Thank you so much for staying!

We had a WONDERFUL stay at 12 in this area! Spacious, comfortable, secluded from the rest and very well-equipped, I recommend closed yeuw. The host was very flexible and friendly, all the instructions were clear and accurate! A car is recommended to access neighboring activities and shops. The price is very good in low season, for such a large and equipped place it is almost given. Another big thank you, we'll be back with pleasure!

Damien is a warm and welcoming host. We had a great time with the family. Everyone found their happiness between the animals, the pool, and the surrounding forest. It was just perfect. Thanks to Damien and Paulette for their sympathy. We'll be back!

We loved our stay at Jenny's place. We were kindly welcomed by Joseph and there were fresh flowers and something tasty ready for us! The house is as described in the listing and has a lovely spacious (shared) garden. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a fantastic stay with 5 adults and 3 children! Beautiful garden where you can enjoy hiking and playing! Nice house, great bedrooms! Only a separate toilet downstairs would have been even more convenient, but it was fine as it is now.

We were there for the weekend and had a very pleasant stay. We got a warm welcome from Caroline and felt right at home. The studio is as advertised with everything you need and the place is peaceful and quiet with a beautiful view over the valley. If ever we are in the neighbourhood again… Highly recommend.

we stayed in this beautiful gite! it was no problem for Jean-Charles and Caroline that we only arrived in the evening and left early. All explanations were clear and should there be anything should we definitely ask. Gite itself was perfectly fine and everything was present. In 5 minutes by car you are at the Circuit of Mettet. Should we be in Mettet again, we definitely think of Jean-Charles and Caroline!

Didier was very friendly. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. We had the whole house at our disposal, with lovely comfortable living rooms. The bedrooms are on the upper floor. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean. We were 9 martial arts practitioners and we will definitely want to come back to the next Budo Event! Thank you!
