George was a great host. Met us upon arrival and ensured we were settled in quickly. The place is lovely and the games room was brilliant. The cottage was well presented and the welcome was a lovely touch. The cottage is a great base if you enjoy hill walking or to discover ayrshire. We had a wonderful stay at this cozy retreat! The sound of the stream flowing nearby was incredibly calming and added to the serene atmosphere. The space was clean, well-equipped, and perfectly located for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a tranquil setting!

The place felt like home away from home… everything was perfect and intact, my family had a good time with no complain whatsoever. The Furnitures, utensils and amenities were perfectly fitted for our stay. The environment is calm and peaceful…

Carries place was absolutely terrific! It was the right mix of convenience, comfort & style! We appreciated the large spaces and all the fine amenities. It was so helpful to have a written book of instructions to refer to for everything from house rules to garbage & recycling to using the showers, heater, etc. There is plenty of storage and wardrobe space throughout this lovely apartment. The eat-in kitchen was especially roomy and useful during our stay. Perhaps the prettiest and most comfy room was the beautiful living room. Decorated in inviting, light hues w/comfy sofas and a nice table in the bay window. Each night we saw the sunset over the sea from that table - beautiful! Both bathrooms were not just functional but quite nice. We personally appreciated having a shower in addition to the tub since we are more shower people ;) Carrie was incredibly friendly & responsive. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again when we visit. Thanks Carrie!

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL HOME! This is probably the BEST place we have ever stayed in with Airbnb. The house we spotless and everything was so well provided for. They even had hot chocolate for kids and really good coffee options for adults, pasta, rice, so many canned food options and oats and what not. Fully stocked kitchen! For kids, they had lots of toys and books. The kids room was the highlight - they had really amazing books nicely laid out as well as a wonderful very clean kitchen set for kids to play with. It really felt like we have just walked right in our home. The playground was the cherry on top. Kids loved climbing and swinging. They even had bubble sets and outdoor playset for the kids and a BBQ set for those who wish to try their hand at BBQ. Can't recommend them enough. Our family of 8 had a great stay and we loved every minute of it. Wished we stayed longer here. We will definitely stay here if we come back to Edinburgh!
