Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Glenelg South

Tom and Petra’s home is absolutely stunning! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true home away from home. The space is incredibly generous, with massive rooms, super comfy beds, and a spacious living and dining area—perfect for relaxing and spending time with friends. We especially loved the interactive speaker system and, of course, the amazing pool! It’s an ideal stay for a large group, and having the option of a third bathroom in the Pilates studio was a fantastic bonus. Tom and Petra were wonderful hosts—communicative, helpful, and always responsive. The only thing to note for future guests is that while there isn’t a sofa lounge for a 7th guest, there is a spare mattress available. That said, this place is a solid 10/10, and we’d absolutely stay again!

Port Willunga is a hidden gem. The house is in prime location to walk to this beach which is often crowded and hard to find a park. The house and host were fantastic!

We had a great stay at Drue and Lauren’s home. Situated in a fantastic location with easy access to the city and beach in a quiet neighbourhood. Very clean space with plenty of room for our family to enjoy. Appreciated the little touches to make our stay comfortable.

Anna's house is very spacious, 4 lovely bedrooms and a large comfortable sitting room and kitchen. The outside sitting area at the back is also very pleasant. The kitchen is also very well equiped with everything one could need. The house is located on the somewhat busy main road which didn't worry us too much as we were out during the day and the road noise definitely less in the night. The larger main bathroom only has a bath (with handheld shower nozzle) and the laundry/second bathroom with a shower is quite small which could worry some guests.

We chose this property based on its location, size and the fact it had a large pool for the kids – it did not disappoint on any of these. Location was great for us, albeit a little further out of the city but our priority was to be close to the beach and as it was only one block away, it was perfect. The property is about a 15min walk from Semaphore centre which has plenty of amenities, small supermarket, restaurants and shops and with Henley beach less than a 10 minute drive away, there are plenty of options. The property has lots of space, the four bedrooms were a good size. The living areas were substantial as were the outdoor areas. The property would benefit from some cosmetic work, some paint was peeling off in some areas but this did not detract in any way from our stay. We would certainly stay at this property again. A lovely apartment, within a secure well maintenance block within CBD. Well equipped, very clean and quiet (despite the Adelaide Fringe) for such an location. The mid stay clean was much appreciated. Good location for buses, trams and the station, making it easy to explore the city and beyond. Thank you Natalie and Stuart

Gabby and James were fantastic attentive hosts. The place was as described and Gabby was both proactive and responsive in communication! There were some nice little touches that made our stay even easier which were truly appreciated! Location is great and I'd recommend it to anyone!

Extraordinary location right in the CBD, walkable to loads of restaurants, the museums, botanical gardens and the Oval. Two full baths made this stand out when we reserved it. We were delighted to find the rare living area that was actually comfortanle and roomy for our group of two couples. We would be delighted to stay here again!

Amy’s place was just what we were after when visiting! Not only was the apartment clean and contained all the necessary amenities for us but also walking distance to the shops, restaurants and the beach. Amy was also very friendly and super easy to communicate with.

The perfect spot for our family trip to SA. Easy walk to the tram and a nice walk to the beach of you're up for it via some lovely coffee shops. Some wonderful play-parks in walking distance. Great local pub only a few minutes away. Leonie was a great host and very responsive. Would recommend.

Absolutely great stay at Joanne's condo. Looks just like the photos! The nespresso pods/tea and milk were a nice surprise. The kitchen was well stocked with any appliance you could need and then some. The beds were very firm but comfortable. Check in instructions were thorough and had great attention to detail. Location was perfect, literal steps from the Glenelg tram stop! Coffee shop/restaurant on the corner.. Only downside was that it could be loud at night due to the proximity to Jetty street. I recommend bringing earplugs, and then you'll have no worries. Overall an excellent stay!

The apartment was perfectly located for everything to do in Adelaide. Deb’s attention to detail was immaculate, you could not fault anything. She was also very helpful with restaurant and shopping suggestions and also with details about fringe events. I can wholeheartedly recommend this property.

Great location, nice views of both ocean and Adelaide hills. Excellent cross breeze. The apartment itself was very clean and had everything you needed for a stay. Parking was a snap and a great bonus being covered. Natalie is super friendly and very accommodating. Though we really did not need anything throughout our stay, she made sure to let us know she was there. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great place to stay, very convenient for town, plenty of local shops , supermarkets and restaurants. Place was very well presented and with 3 bedrooms perfect for our needs .

Overall a great stay!Great central location, great value for money; the apartment is clean and fully equipped with kitchen utensils.There is also a free pool, sauna, gym use which was a great surprise to us.Any problems encountered can also ask Leteesha and communication is also smooth. However, after all, a small cleaning fee has been collected, and we still need to pack our own trash and wash the dishes before we leave, otherwise there will be an extra charge, which makes us some effort.We needed to get to the airport very early because our trip was on the same day. Other than that, everything else was top-notch!If coming back to Adelaide in the future, I hope to have the opportunity to continue to stay here.

Well structured apartment with bedrooms separated. Living area is excellent and kitchen very functional. Location is good with first class pub 50m away, their food is sensational. About 1.5km from the centre of Adelaide, an easy walk but 30mins, or do what we did and use the e-scooters. All up good location and convenient.

Loved Linda’s Air BNB. Great location in North Adelaide an easy, short bus ride from the city. Lots of lovely touches such as tea / coffee and essentials you may need for your trip. It was spotlessly clean and rooms well laid out with lots of charging ports ( helpful for us). We particularly enjoyed the location ( close to large park and university) and the cafes on Melbourne street. Linda was welcoming and very proactive & responsive by message . Thank you so much 😊

A quiet, well-equipped apartment. Great location: good local shops, cafes, restaurants; easy access to city whether walking, driving or by public transport. Giovanna a model host: always responsive, prompt replies to queries. We’d certainly return if the opportunity arises again.
