Holiday rentals in Goochland

This was our second time staying at the coziest of cottages and third time staying at one of Brent and Carla’s properties. They go above and beyond in every way! Everything is so clean and welcoming! They are so responsive and proactive. Everything is taken care of and thought of in advance of your stay. The property itself is in a great location, close to the lake. It’s quiet and peaceful. The house is a great utilization of space and has everything that you might need and more. We would not hesitate to stay again and are so excited when one of their properties are available, because we know it will be top notch!

Love this place. It’s beautiful. There was lots of snow but it made it even more beautiful! Perfect size for my visiting family. Will look to book again

The house was warm, comfortable and inviting. It was also very well furnished with a well stocked kitchen. Location was convenient to restaurants and entertainment while still feeling secluded.

The cottage is beyond perfect .. as was the hospitality that was provided. Yes, everything was exactly as described, but there was a peacefulness about the cottage that exceeded our expectations. The vistas of the farm, the neighboring hills, and mountains were breathtaking as were the night skies. The house is well-appointed and immaculate. I sincerely did not want to leave - there is no question in my mind why Julie’s place gets such stellar reviews. Gordonsville is quaint and there is ample to see with a short drive - but I honestly would have been happy to linger on the porch and soak in the views.

Ashley‘s place is amazing! Very close to great restaurants and grocery stores. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished. There is everything that you could want or need and she is very generous with gifts and providing extras. My sister and I enjoyed a girls weekend for my birthday And I hope to go back in the spring when the weather is warmer to do more exploring! The house is situated on a main road through very nice neighborhoods so there is a bit of traffic noise, but it really didn’t bother us. Beautiful house and excellent location!

The cabin and surrounding area was so beautiful! We got hit with a cold front and were a little stuck but still got to go out on the trails around the lake. The snow was gorgeous there too. The cabin was cute and perfect for what we wanted. The only thing was if you have allergies, like me, you might be feeling them a bit. Maybe bring an air purifier with you if needed! Besides that it was a perfect trip! Would stay again!

This home was beautiful, wonderful, and relaxing. The view from the house is so gorgeous and secluded. You really feel like you are on vacation. Of course our host was responsive and proactive. But as a busy mom with two little kids I have to highlight how particularly child friendly this home is! We stayed upstairs which has 2 bedrooms with a jack and Jill bath in between. My boys loved having two single beds at a height they could easily get into and I loved not worrying about them falling out of a gigantic bed. There were toys in the chest of their room with working batteries! Unreal! There was a mini table and chairs. Games and books spanned multiple ages and both my 4 yo and my 6 yo found games to play. My kids are sensitive to cold water (the little one turns blue!) and the heated pool was a HUGE hit. We never even made it to using the kayaks because the kids just wanted to be in the pool. There were even pool toys. I am running out of characters for this review! We will be back!

I reserve Airbnbs very often but I can say this is my favorite I have reserved. The house is beautiful and it has everything. They have really put effort in making it amazing with everything is needed. I can’t say I didn’t like something. I really loved the touch of the blankets in the baskets. We didn’t get to use the fire pit because it was raining. But we enjoyed being inside playing games. I’m already thinking about renting it in the summer. 11/10 👌

Lovely rental. The listing was exactly as described. The host responded very quickly to any questions. It had everything we needed and I felt very at home. This is an amazing location we will definitely be coming back for more fun here in the summer. The hot tub felt hot and relaxing outside even though it was so cold. 5 stars.
