Beach house holiday rentals in Goolwa

Looking for posh, flash, luxury? This isn't your place - but, like us, if you seek a spacious, comfortable, well-equipped home in a superb beach town (just a few steps from spectacular views and a great beach) at an affordable price, then Tom's traditional Aussie home will be perfect for you. We enjoyed the blending of modern and "settler" features of the house. The rooms are large, the WIFI and tv work perfectly, the kitchen is huge and has everything (and more) you need to cook a meal; the location is superb; the town/village is wonderful; and Tim is an excellent communicator. The house is 175 years old and has a few rough edges, but these did not affect our enjoyment of the experience. Tip: the town's bakery has excellent pies and terrific sourdough bread!

Very comfortable house with beautiful view of the hills - dinner on the deck is a lovely way to end a day at the beach, and not one single fly or mosquito whilst we were out there. House is very well set out with everything you need to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.

Hosts were friendly and thoughtful. Place was comfortable and well-equipped. Surroundings are peaceful and easy to navigate. For people using wheelchairs and walking frames, the place has all required assistance aids - easy access, grab rails in showers and toilet area. Flat walking surfaces are easy to manoeuvre. Overall, an enjoyable stay all round.

Great place to relax with your family or friends. We have 3 boys - a young adult and two teenagers and they loved the place. Close to the beach for surfing/swimming/walking and lovely to relax in the spa or play pool. Plenty of room and bedrooms. Lots of crockery to use and the bedding was fresh, spotless and comfortable. A responsive host and we have left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Would recommend and will return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here. Our plan was to stay at the house & have family catch up time - it was great. Loved the outdoor area!! The house was well equipped with what was needed. The only issue really was that there were no BBQ tools but hopefully that will be addressed now. Inside is as great as the photos show.

The landing is exactly as pictured. It is in a great location with magnificent views. The sunsets are spectacular. It has a shack vibe but still has all the mod cons anyone could look for. Whilst we didn’t stay with kids, it’s obvious this is a great holiday stay for a family.

Great location, we loved watching the storm roll in from the large balcony, What a view! Well equiped, everything we needed was provided. Including shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash. Enough space for our whole family to get ready as we had a family wedding to attend, without feeling on top of each other. Welcome bottle of wine, a lovely surprise.

Such an beautifully maintained property, the little extras were much appreciated. Bedding was very comfortable and Narelle was friendly, responsive and accommodating. We had a lovely stay, thank you Narelle.

Banksia Dunes was a stunning place and exactly like the pictures. The house was very clean and had everything we could have asked for. The board games were a nice touch and offered extra entertainment. The shower was perfect and the beds were very comfy. The host (Corey) was friendly and easy to reach. I would love to stay here again I. The future.

We had a lovely few days at Villa 66! The accomodation was clean, spacious, had all the facilities we required, and more! The host was friendly and responsive. The kids are looking forward to returning soon.

This property was perfect. Great open spaces and well appointment. We were really comfortable and Sara gave great recommendations on where to go and what to do. We had the best time!

My wife and I really enjoyed our long weekend stay at Silver Sands. The home is welcoming, comfortable, clean, and relaxing. The home is well placed to enjoy a short stroll to the beach or the views out to the Aldinga Washpool which is a habitat for birds, including migratory birds that fly thousands of kilometres from Russia, Japan and China. Given the lack of water this year, the bird life was quiet during our stay but we enjoyed the antics of the magpie community with up to 11 magpies on the front lawn at times and taking turns singing. Margot was very good at communicating with us and we are looking forward to staying again at Silver Sands.

We had a really pleasant stay! The accommodation was perfectly clean and equipped with all the essentials! We enjoyed the big backyard and playing lawn games there. The location couldn’t be better. We also really appreciated the hosts’ welcome goodies and guide to the area on arrival. It’s a lovely accommodation and you cannot go wrong picking it for your stay in victor harbor!

Lauren hosted us amazingly! The spot was beautiful, to die for view and everything we needed for our short stay. The room was comfy and the privacy aspect really added to our romantic stay away! The beach was close and so was any restaurants or shops we needed to go to. Lastly, the hospitality and flexibility with a later check out was superb! We will definitely be coming back in the future without a doubt :)

We had a wonderful stay in Denise’s beautiful home in Middleton. Perfect location with sensational views. Plenty of space and privacy for three couples on a golfing weekend away. Everything included in the kitchen for stay in meals. Denise was a good communicator and check in was easy. Would highly recommend you stay here if you’re planning to visit the area.

Thank you very much for the perfect house of the landlord Kellie, which allowed us to spend the most unforgettable holiday in Australia. All the facilities of the room are not only complete but also very new. The children especially like table tennis in the game room. Highly recommended. If we come to South Australia, we will definitely stay again.
