Holiday rentals with lake access in Gothenburg

The second time we rented this home so we knew what we were going to get. Enjoyed it as much as last time. It's a place where you get both peace and quiet in the soul but proximity to living countryside.

We were two families with four children who rented the house over New Year. Incredibly nice and spacious house with large social areas and comfortable bedrooms for everyone. Everything you could possibly need is located in the house. Oskar is nice, helpful and quick to respond. We are super happy! Can highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful place! Closer to the sea one does not come. We have enjoyed ourselves very much, both children and adults. Bright and nice interior, clean and modern. Nice and easy. We would love to come again. Thank you so much for us!

It was a really lovely place for our family to spend Christmas. Despite the time of year we were able to have some lovely walks around the lake and into the hills. The outlook over the lake was a pleasure at all times as day.

We had an amazing stay at Christian's place! Our group of 12, including 6 kids aged between 10 and 13, found the accommodation perfect for our needs. The house was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making it easy for everyone to feel comfortable. The kids especially loved the deck and thoroughly enjoyed the water & floated so many paper boats & played bouncing pebbles, which kept them entertained outdoors during most of the time during our stay. The location was ideal for a peaceful stay, Christian was incredibly helpful and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this place for large groups and families. I was staying for World Masters Athletics event and Rita’s place was perfect, I could store food in the fridge with a small freezer and cook with oven hob and microwave. I hired a car as my venues were spread out but public transport Is also easily accessible. Rita and her husband are wonderful hosts, always helpful and responsive. The view is amazing and whilst Rita was keeping their gorgeous dog away I enjoy animals so was happy to meet Frankie who is as friendly as his owners. A charning, simple apartment exactly as described perfect for my stay😊

We spent 2 nights at Marie's in the charming little village where she lives. The accommodation was perfectly clean, perfect for 2 people and a dog!! Right in front of the sea, wooden terrace and ladder for morning bathing as many Swedes do. The place is very quiet, bikes are kindly loaned. Very nice coast and a great fishmonger in the village next door. A bottle of chilled white wine upon arrival. And Marie's kindness! Perfect for a short stay on the island!

Great place to stay in Askim, near to the sea and to the city of Gothenburg. Somayeh is available for any question and helped us out several times. It is also great to be able to charge your electric car there.

We had a really great stay during the winter time which is lovely because it’s quite and calm, we had very good hosts which have been helpful and very friendly. The flat with the great view over the lake was just a place to relax and enjoy.

We had a wonderful time in Eva and Martin’s house. The house was super clean and had everything we could possibly need to feel perfectly at home and cook a nice dinner after long days of hiking and/or exploring the city. Highly recommended! Thank you again Eva and Martin!

We had a great time at Hélène's place. The accommodation is very clean, quiet, cozy and very well located a 5-minute walk to a typical Swedish small port. Hélène and her husband are adorable and available. We didn't want for anything. Everything was perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at this very cozy and comfortable cabin. The cabin is placed in beautiful, quiet surroundings close to the woods and to the sea. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. Fredrik is a very friendly and helpful host, and the neighbors are friendly, too. We will definitely recommend it.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the cabin with Andreas and Ellen after three lovely days at Tjörn. We were very happy with that. Beautiful surroundings and a nice, clean, functional and cozy cabin. Here was everything we needed. Andreas was helpful and very accommodating. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful place and especially nice host. Kids and adults had a wonderful time. Cozy living room, good heating. Steep stairs to the loft and narrow access to the bunk bed in the bedroom, but it appears clearly from the pictures and went just fine for us.
