Holiday rentals in Goughs Bay

Abby and Joe were great hosts very easy to communicate and prompt. We had no issues and the house was amazing and catered for all 9 of us. We were also blessed to wake up to snow falling in Merrijig. Abby also helped with suggestions of hire places for snow gear and equipment. It was very close and convenient to Mt Buller for us to spend a full day out at the snow. Thanks Abby and Joe

Had such a peaceful stay at Bogaroo Cottage. Quiet, spacious with a few cow spottings. I would say that the cottage is larger than it looks in the photos which is quite surprising! No noise from the nearby road and only a short drive to a town with coles, woollies etc. We visited in summer and would love to come back and stay during winter too. Internet was pretty reliable, only about 30 minutes each day where service and internet would cut out. Most kitchen essentials provided and super easy to cook all of your own meals, aircon also works quite well. Bathroom was very clean with toiletries and towels provided, really good water pressure. Close enough to the host’s house to feel safe but private enough to feel like you are in your own space. Didn’t need to contact the host for anything, all instructions were laid out very clearly. In summary, such a nice stay and relaxing getaway - like a home away from home.

Our stay was fantastic! The location is absolutely beautiful, and Keren was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to extend our checkout time so we didn’t have to rush. This meant a lot to us, especially with a newborn, as it usually takes a bit longer to get everything sorted. We truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture and had a wonderful experience!

We stayed at Brad’s place over the long weekend and it was nothing short of amazing! He was so helpful throughout the stay and accommodated perfectly for our stay and the extras we had coming. It was so relaxing and exactly what we were looking for! We had the best time and will definitely be returning! Thanks again Brad, appreciate your help.

Amazing

What a beautiful place to disconnect from the busyness of life and connect with nature. The cottage is fascinating-beautifully presented and felt cosy and welcoming. We saw lots of kangaroos, wallabies and rosellas which delighted the kids. Kate was a great host- very organised, responsive and the instructions were excellent so we found it stress free. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back again.

Damian and Jenny Just want to say thank you for having us and letting us enjoy your beautiful home, the country, the lake and your lovely and well maintained garden, my 84 yo Mum enjoyed walking around the lovely garden. A beach lounge chair with an umbrella would be perfect to enjoy the sun and the lake. Love the serenity and unobstructed view of the lake from the balcony and even inside the house. The fully equipped pantry and kitchen made feeding a large group of people easy and festive. The young and the old enjoyed the pool table so much! Hoping to be back again.
