Comfy bed and very clean. Beautiful surroundings and not too far from New Quay. Enjoyed the stay. This place would really benefit from a hot tub! But otherwise can’t fault it.

What a fabulous stay we had at the Price’s Arms! We hired the renovated pub as part of a hen do and it did not disappoint! All amenities that were included were fabulous, from the towels, industrial kitchen, party disco light & games tables! The place was well decorated and had a lovely homely yet party feel to it! The bar was a lovely touch too! The log burner was a real winner too. The ground floor felt spacious & well laid out! The place did not disappoint & have already recommended it to other people! It was well placed with Henrhyd falls about a 12minute walk away! The only thing could fault would be the bedrooms, it’s outside around the back, up steep industrial steps, this wasn’t made clear on the ad and had a couple of elderly ladies stay with us who had to sleep on the sofa in the pub section. We also do feel the steps could’ve been lit better at the bottom for safety reasons. Overall we were very pleased with the accommodation & will be booking again for future stays!!

Lucie’s place is truly a little gem- situated by a beautiful brook tucked away in the countryside. We were welcomed by Lucie who was so friendly and once we were inside we were greeted by a beautiful tea tray, fresh milk and delicious Welsh shortbread. The annex is beautifully decorated with an eclectic style. Every want and need is catered for down to relaxing watching Netflix to playing a board game. Poppy, our labradoodle, felt most at home with everything catered for by Lucie including doggie blankets. An ideal place to explore the beaches and beautiful nature Wales has to offer. A perfect stay and we will definitely be returning!

My family and I stayed at this space over Christmas and we had an amazing time! Sarah is genuinely just such an amazing host, so friendly and warm! She welcomed us with some drinks and had a beautiful little spread waiting for us on the table. The detail and effort that went into making things festive and cosy was so appreciated, it really felt magical and the kids absolutely loved it! There were quite a few musical instruments which was really fun too :) There were plenty of games for us to play and plenty of space for everyone. All in all, we have a really wonderful time and Sarah was super accommodating throughout our stay. I would highly recommend Sarah’s beautiful listing for anyone/group looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and spend some cosy quality time together. We’re looking forward to staying again in the future :)

Excellent accommodation for our family of 5 adults and our dog. House was spotlessly clean, lovely views and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Comfortable beds, quiet and very warm in January as underfloor heating is lovely. Met the owner who was very helpful. Excellent meal at the local pub and lovely Indian takeaway. Shop owner is extremely friendly. Highly recommend staying here, we will definitely be back another time.

Parrog House is a beautifully situated, large house, virtually on the sea front in Newport. Despite being a large old building, the aga and log fire made it feel very cosy, even in the midst of winter storms. The kitchen and dining room were great for dinner with family and friends but there are also some great pubs close by (walking distance) if you want a night off cooking. With 4 showers and 5 toilets there were also ample facilities for everyone, which is great when your group includes teenagers as ours did. Would highly recommend.

Lovely house in a fantastic location! We felt incredibly comfortable and appreciated all the thoughtful touches from the host. The Christmas decorations and welcome pack were such a lovely surprise and made our stay feel extra special. Getting to spend time with their adorable dog, cat, and even the playful goats was a highlight for us—it added such a unique and memorable touch to our visit. We truly hope to return someday!

A beautiful setting tucked away in a corner of a very large lawn/field and half in the surrounding trees. Very peaceful with all the household amenities you'd need. Paula and Tom couldn't have been more helpful with lots of suggestions for places of interest and eating.

Great stay and communication throughout. The house was perfect for our needs and exactly as described. Couldn’t ask for more.

Really great place to stay. Very clean and tidy with comfy beds and really warm considering it snowed! Hosts were brilliant and I’ll be staying here again for sure when I return to Aberdare.

The cottage was perfectly located for us to visit family in Pontypridd and a trip to Cardiff. Luke responded really quickly to messages and was really friendly. Everything we needed, a warm and cosy base for our weekend. Thanks!
