Family-friendly holiday rentals in Gran Canaria

Gerard has been the best host we've had in our Airbnb career! He responded quickly and accurately to any questions we had, and we felt well taken care of from the start. Already in advance of the stay, we were sent a detailed and helpful booklet with tips on the local area, restaurants and activities – a fantastic resource that we used a lot. Gerard was also very helpful along the way, including trip suggestions and other local information. His service was simply exceptional. Villa Carmela is a magnificent residence, with everything one might desire – especially the kitchen, which was impressively well equipped. All rooms had their own gorgeous bathrooms, and the sheltered backyard was a peaceful oasis, perfect for both play and relaxation – for both big and small. We highly recommend Villa Carmela and Gerard. We couldn't have had a better stay!

Jose was very welcoming and provided a long list of recommendations. He checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The place is peaceful and private. You need a car to get anywhere with shops, bars or restaurants. The pool was great. The week was exactly what we needed.

The place is wonderful, falling asleep with the waves of the sea is priceless. Very clean and really well maintained both the accommodation and the entire context around, common spaces, beach. Lidia is very kind and quick to communicate.

This was our second visit to this lovely apartment. It is well equipped and very comfortable. We had a few problems, but they were resolved very quickly, which was impressive and much appreciated. We would gladly stay here again.

We felt right at home in Fatima's apartment. The apartment is perfect for families with children. Our daughter didn't want to leave. The location of the apartment is fantastically beautiful. The pool and beach can be reached by short distances. Our daughter was able to play freely in the garden and dance on the sun plateau in front of the pool. The pool is fenced to ensure that no child falls in. There are restaurants nearby where you can eat delicious food and supermarkets. Communication with Fatima was great. We were able to reach out to them with any questions and received an immediate response. We sincerely thank Fatima for this wonderful stay.

A great house in a great location. Quiet neighborhood with some barking dogs from time to time. This didn't bother us much and we really like peace and quiet. At night it was mouse quiet. Really everything you could think of was present. Kitchen completely furnished. Sparkling clean and very cozily furnished house. You immediately feel at home. We loved beds, good night's sleep. The outdoor space is mega large and beautiful with a lovely jacuzzi. In mid-March you could find a place in the sun from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. If you prefer to sit in the shade, you can do so during the day. There are several seats and chairs. You don't have a view from the yard as it is walled high. The advantage is that you are very private. A car is highly recommendable. We always had a parking space at the house. The host is a sweet woman who was already waiting for us and showed us everything in the house. We thought it was so nice that we booked again for November and March 2026.

The stay at Nathalie’s was amazing, the view from the balcony was breathtaking and unforgettable. Nathalie was checking in on us and very friendly. No complaints here!

A beautiful location, and very-peaceful

Vidin's place more than met our expectations, had everything you need to spend these days, it is also in a quiet area and at night you could rest without noise. Beds were very comfortable and stay was very pleasant stay was very pleasant. Close to the promenade of Las Canteras and with a lot of offers to eat; if I had to go back I would repeat in this place. In addition, Vidina was very attentive and gave us flexibility in the check-out time, thank you very much for your kindness.

A beautiful apartment that was well situated for the beach, restaurants, supermarkets and the bus station. extremely well kitted out, it had everything you needed included beach items, towels, beach chairs and umbrella. Fernando had thought of everything! He was very responsive and helpful providing recommendations and transport around the islands. The Global bus service was excellent and we used it to get to the airport at the end. I would highly recommend staying here. Many thanks Fernando for providing such lovely accommodation.

Great villa in the golf resort in the hills over the sea! Modern, functional, very clean, fully equipped with everything including a nice stereo. Plenty of space, nice furniture and beds. Host is flexible, reactive and welcoming! Thanks!

What a lovely cottage in a lovely quiet place. Perfect location to drive both to all sides of the island. Nice pool and wonderfully quiet in the evening. The apartment is nicely furnished and met the expectations.

If you're looking for a very clean, no bugs in a quiet neighborhood, don't even think about it. The cleanliness of the big C. Nothing was sticky, everything was sparkling and smelling. There was not a single bug either day or night. I only met a wonderful little lizard outside once. The house had everything we needed! From cleaning supplies to spices. Location right next to the store. A short and pleasant walk to the harbor, restaurants, and pools. Cafe a few steps from the house. Pool area empty, you can sunbathe alone. The pool is beautiful, but unfortunately the water is not heated, which gives you not very hot water in January. But it's not a big deal, because there are a lot of interesting things to see. The house was warm and a blanket for the night was quite enough. If we are on GC again, we will definitely choose this home because it provided comfort and space. I recommend with a clear conscience

Beautiful peaceful area. We enjoyed chilling on the veranda in the sunshine. It did get chilly at night as you are high up. We noticed 5-10 degrees difference from the coast. However the wood fire is great to cosy up to. We did some wonderful walks of around 4.5 miles in the area. One was straight from the house. Perhaps Valantin could print off maps of the two we did. A rustic farmhouse with chicken eggs, oranges and avocados to pick. Valentin prompt answering any questions Highly recommend the place Although only did the steep driveway once, parked up the top and walked down!

We had a lovely time. A perfect winter sun holiday. The apartment and pool area were really clean. We were there for Easter and one of the swimming pools was heated, which was lovely. There is a restaurant/bar beside the pool where we had lunch most days. The host was very responsive and helpful. We would stay there again.

Yazmina has a lovely little holiday apartment with everything you need for a great holiday. Everything was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped, the terrace was a perfect extra room with a view of the beach and mountains. The apartment was a bit smaller than expected, but would be ideal for a couple. It could just go with two adults and one smaller child. It is easy to access a heated pool, which is ideal for families with children. The pool area was large and very quiet. All in all, a great place for another quiet sun getaway with everything within easy reach.

We loved staying here, had such a relaxing stay with our toddler. The beach is so beautiful and feels private and never too busy, easy to walk to shop and local restaurant. We didn’t hire a car and it was very easy to get the bus to the apartment from the airport. We were also able to walk to San Augustin for more choice of shops and restaurants and a bigger beach. You can spot lots of lizards on the way as well which our toddler loved! Pool was also great, a bit cold but were used to refreshing chilly swims in Scotland so it didn’t bother us and just meant it was quite a lot of the time.

We had a wonderful stay at Clary’s bungalow. The property is located in a peaceful, tranquil setting moments away from the hustle and bustle of Maspalomas. Easy access to the dunes (which are a must see) & to the shops and restaurants. The bungalow has everything you need - home from home!

everything was very nice, appartment was clean. there are two small supermarkets near the appartment. pool was clean and there were a lot of sunbeds. we enjoyed our stay

The house is as pictured and very nice. For a hot summer it is certainly great in the mountains with pool and then the fruits are certainly also ripe. The journey is very tedious and you can't necessarily be anxious. Beautiful house, bakery and small supermarket immediately. For everything else you definitely need a car and have to like long curvy rides 😊

Carina was really helpful from the moment we booked. We loved the apartment. It had an amazing view, was really comfortable. We made a lot of use of the rooftop terrace.

Very nice apartment with a huge terrace. Amazing for the kids to be able to use the pool at the hotel that is connected to the house, which also had a gym. Best AirBandB stay I have ever had!
