What an amazing place to stay! We stayed over Thanksgiving and it was close enough to Ft. Worth to visit friends and Granbury where we had some work to do the next couple of days. Super peaceful and comfortable! Wish we had more time to be able to explore the ranch! The shower was fantastic and I was determined to use the hot tub even though it was cold outside! Really unique experience staying in a safari tent. I highly recommend it!

We had a great time . The hostess was very responsive and friendly. We enjoyed all the amenities - especially the big dock and kayaks! The space was small - but perfect for a weekend away with my husband ! Highly recommended 😁

Staying here was a great escape from the busyness of life. The host was amazing and went above and beyond. When we asked about grilling utensils they went and got some for us and dropped them off. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and would stay here again.

Elle and Taylor had everything we needed for a fabulous family retreat. Our family filled up every possible bed. We had ages from 1 to 68 years old and we all had so much fun. Their accommodations were so perfect for all our variety of interests. From the fire pit (complete with S’mores) to the hammock, and the hot tub and the zip line and the treehouse and the basketball games after the kids went to bed and more. The big porch offered a lot of lounging and conversation. God provided the perfect weather for us and Elle and Taylor provided the perfect Airbnb. Hoping to go back someday! Best surprise was the treasure hunt for the kids right before we left! Thank you!

We had a great visit! Location was quiet and out of the way, though close to a little store to pick up anything you might need. The house was very nice and had a great deck / fire pit area. We didn’t get a chance to try the hot tub (weather was too warm), but it looked nice too

Kathy is a great host! She is very responsive and made sure we were taken care of. The place is also very unique. Love the atmosphere!

We came to Glen Rose for the January 2025 dog show with 7 dogs entered. We loved the cabin because we could set up 2 adults, a child, and 7 dogs. Good set up and comfy sleep. Luci was so helpful and we are definitely coming back!

The pics and description don’t do it justice. The house is perfectly located. It’s next to everything, but it feels secluded….absolutely perfect for a family trip. When we left, my girlfriend’s 6 year old son told me he wants a log cabin now!

It was so much more than I anticipated. Beautiful property, lovely animals, and friendly personnel. The homemade cookies were the cherry on top. I will come back, only next time I will bring my grandkids.

We were in Stephenville for the Jingle Bell Classic Extreme Team Roping. Although our weekend was fast and furious with late nights it made it so much better by having a quite and peaceful place to rest. Cabin was equipped with everything needed and so very comfortable! Wonderful experience! Andrea was friendly, accommodating and responsive. We booked our stay last minute and she was extremely welcoming. Check-in and check out were smooth. The cabin was lovely! Clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. So peaceful. The cabin was outside of town in the country but close enough to several restaurants and stores. We were so grateful for being able to stay with our pets. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and look forward to returning in the future!

Our family had an absolute blast at the Prairie House! The animals stole the show! My kids (ages 3 and 5) could not get enough of the farm atmosphere. They did not want to leave! The nearness to the river and Big Rocks Park is a huge perk too. We will absolutely come back!

Wonderful experience. Stayed in the Buena Vista and enjoyed the hot tub on the deck looking out over a pond that had several deer come out to wander around. Owners were awesome. The sunset tour was worth every penny. Gives you a cool look at the property, which is beautiful. Will definitely be going back soon for another weekend reset from reality.

Sweet remote getaway! Close to both Glen Rose and Granbury! Wish we could have stayed longer ! We felt right at home !
