Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Grandes-Piles

Christophe & Nancy were very welcoming. The accommodation is clean, very well equipped, true to description and photos.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We really made our stay. The host was incredibly attentive, especially when we got stuck; they were helping us all the time, which was invaluable. The cabin had a spectacular view, and the snowfall made it even more magical. Every detail was taken care of to make us feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful house whose character comes straight from its years of the past. Beautifully well maintained and warm. For large families who want to gather it's perfect. It's an address that every person we were with will keep in mind!

We had a big crush on this cottage and the owners! The place is enchanting and intimate, surrounded by beautiful trees. In winter, we were able to walk around the neighborhood and take small slides with the kids around. The interior was very clean (and the spa) and very well-equipped. He had an unexpected break and the owners were very responsive. We would recommend it unreservedly!

Family stay for Christmas. Warm welcome by Nancy upon arrival. Perfect place to relax with family. Well equipped kitchen. Living room with sofas and comfortable armchair. Convenient 2 bathrooms for a family. 4 comfortable beds, we all slept well. Awesome outdoor fire area that allowed us to spend most of the time outdoors despite the cold. A great hot tub to relax in. A perfect relaxing Christmas and a little slice of heaven appreciated by all our family members.

We had a great time at Sophie's place! Large for 2 people, in a very quiet place, by the river, a few minutes from Shawinigan, we were able to rest and enjoy the magnificent Parc de la Mauricie (about 30min drive from the Saint Jean des Piles entrance).

Even better than expected! The cottage was perfectly furnished, equipped and well decorated. The view is great

We had a lovely three days at Daniel’s chalet. The place was brand new and super clean, and the queen bed was very comfortable. Despite using just a portion of the house, we still had enough areas for the two of us to work, nap, cook, and play board games (both indoors and on the patio). Lake Thomas is beautiful, but the only issue we had was putting the kayak into the lake - there were floods just before we arrived, so we would be knee deep in mud when entering the kayak. Swimming was much easier to do, as we jumped into deep water from the quay. When swimming be sure to try out the little green and white floaties - they’re so much fun! 🙂 At the time of our stay, the space between the chalet and the lake was rocky (there is no grassy areas) and unfinished (as per the photos), so we couldn’t sit by the lake except on the quay. We are feeling refreshed by the water and calmed by the quiet nature around the lake, and would surely return! Thanks, Daniel!

Fantastic cabin retreat in the fall for visiting family in the area. The river is beautiful and accessible from the dock. The stairs to the dock need repair but we were able to enjoy non-the-less. Superb rental! We hope to return someday!

An amazing stay in a beautiful cottage that exceeded all of our expectations. Nothing to say, it's just a perfect place, sublime, clean, extremely well-equipped, full of small details and touches that delighted us. I wish that the cabin had been available for a longer duration during our availability. I can see this as being a great place to get away from the city to relax. Real log cabin feel and smell of wood walls, so clean and de-cluttered. I can see evenings spent playing cards and listening to the forest sounds. Very relaxing.

The chalet is beautiful, authentic, the peaceful place, many activities all around, amenities nearby. Responsive and very nice hosts. Thank you for a great stay. We had a great holiday.

Nancy's cottage was amazing! You can book without a second thought. Winter brings a magical touch with snow 🤩 Everything was spotless, very well equipped and the bedding was of good quality.

This was a great stay and we were able to disconnect from the world and reconnect with our family. The place was beautiful, clean, and perfect for relaxing. Emy was very responsive to our needs and we never felt in want for anything. Thank you for some wonderful memories!
