In a countryside setting, rich in local history allowing you to disconnect & rediscover the joys of living, while only minutes from the Award winning restaurants & wineries in Orange. During our guests stay they can melt their cares away in our custom built wood fired bath tub, looking at the beautiful sunset or stars above. As at this time please note there is no WiFi in the cottage and limited Phone service. A great way to relax and unwind without being completely cut off from the world.

Strikes 1 and 2 are two stand-alone eco-friendly, architecturally designed one bedroom self-contained luxury cottages nestled in the heart of Mudgee wine country 5 minutes’ drive from the town center. The views from both cottages are elevated and spectacular. The houses are newly completed in 2017 and offer luxury and tranquility. Nilgiri Cottage. Comfortable, clean and cared for.

Nilgiri Cottage is one of two cottages overlooking beautiful, farmland. Each cottage is self contained. They are 12 kilometres from the centre of Bathurst. Nilgiri Cottage has many of its original features, including high ceilings, pressed tin walls and simple farmhouse kitchen. A reverse cycle A/C is installed in the main living room. Small electric heaters are available for the bedrooms. Fluffy doonas and electric blankets are on the King and Queen bed in the main bedrooms. Check in is 3pm.

Historic country cottage in Central West NSW

The cottage is located on a sheep and cattle grazing property in the Central West near the small village of Goolma. Built in the 1880s, it is renovated for accommodation and perfect for cyclists and people wanting calm quiet tranquility without the distraction of a tv. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a laundry, a living room with a wood stove and lots of books and a kitchen where guests can cook their own meals. There is no wifi but those who have Telstra phones will be able to be online.

You’ll love my place because its located in a quaint village where you can unwind, go for walks, eat in or out or enjoy visiting Shoyen Gardens, Zoo, Wellington Caves, live show (DRTCC) or the cultural centre. You could be wanting somewhere special to stay for a night, a few days weeks or months. The cottage has all modern comforts & is a contemporary interior. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families and business travellers. Pet fee $15 per pet / per night.

You will be very comfortable in the Bathurst heritage precinct when you stay in our centrally located cottage. The cottage is a 5 minute stroll (i.e 3 city blocks) to the city centre including cafes, shops, pubs, clubs, cinema, parks and the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC). We have a high chair, change table and cot on request. Pets are welcome at Maeve’s Cottage for an additional fee.
