The perfect location to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Beautifully decorated, clean accommodation with everything needed to pamper and relax, plus some extra special touches. We stayed five nights, but could've stayed longer, with so much outstanding local, natural environment to explore. The host greeted us with a friendly welcome, but completely respected our privacy throughout our stay.

Such a lovely and extremely peaceful location with lots to do in surrounding areas that are very close to this idillic property. We would highly recommend. Also, very fur baby friendly. Thank you

Mary's place was homely, clean and quiet. very Right in the centre of Hahndorf, and walkingdistance to restaurantsand amenities. Just what we needed for a family of 4. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Sunny Vale. It was perfect for a weekend in McLaren Vale when attending a family wedding. A lovely space, very clean and comfortable for a family of four. We hope to get back to McLaren Vale again soon and would stay again.

Wonderful cottage full of eclectic and interesting things, and a lovely outdoor covered area to sit in amongst a beautifully kept garden. Couple of things to note for future guests are that there is no laundry facility in case you need some washing doing as the cottage is exactly as described - a 1 x1. Also you can’t get your car very near to the cottage which may be an issue in bad weather getting luggage from car to cottage. It has to be said that this is not a criticism. Neither of these things detracted from our stay as we had good weather and a wonderful stay and the hosts were marvellous - just wanted to make future guests aware.

Such a perfect place to stay! Lovely and clean and very private. Had everything as listed. There are a few large steps up the path to the front door, but other than that it was very easy to access. Highly recommend!

Evelyn's place has everything you need and nothing you don't need. The kitchen is equipped for all needs, being it to prepare a snack, keep drinks cold and enjoying the (provided and delicious) home made bread, Quince jelly and local honey) to cooking up a full meal. The bed was made with fine linen, towels and all that you need in the shower were provided and top quality. A great spot for dog owners too with the fenced in area where your furry friends can go on a sniffing tour and meet the local cows (on the other side of the fence). Although it was not "fruit season" I managed to pinch some delicious figs and passion fruit in the orchard and used some fresh herbs from the garden.

Fantastic stay. Had a slight problem with ants that was quickly rectified on the first day. Location is super convenient, 20-30 min walk to the city, lots of good cafes and restaurants around, supermarkets and essentials all within a 5 minute walk. Bed was super comfortable, nice linens provided, some basics and a little snack also provided which was a nice touch after a long drive from Melbourne. Laundry easily accessible and host was also easily contactable through the app. Thanks for the stay!

We would stay here again. The place was beautiful and peaceful - especially the large verandah and clean comfortable rooms. We were made to feel very welcome. The fridge was even stocked with local produce for us to try, including freshly laid eggs.

It was a very pleasant stay in the outdoor bath which was very impressive and close to the beach which gave us an unforgettable view of the sunset and we are looking forward to staying in such a perfect house again

Wow, what a beautiful place! (1st comment on walking in) The Policeman's Apartment has been so beautifully done out with such great regard for its historic value. We really appreciated the 'homeliness' of it, & the welcoming gift was a lovely touch. Everything was spotlessly clean & although we didn't cook there, there is everything you need. We had a great 4 night stay at Christine’s property. The house is lovely and homely with everything you need in it. It was very clean. Communication with Christine was easy. We loved that there were some food items (eggs, bread, butter, yogurt) for us in the fridge - makes you feel extra welcome. We would definitely book again!

Highly recommend. Wonderful quiet spot with glimpses of the ocean. Everything we needed and some yummy surprises on arrival. Lovely hosts and excellent value.
