Guest house holiday rentals in Great Lakes Council

We absolutely loved this place. The hosts were awesome, the area was great and the unit itself was tip top. We are already planning to come again.

The place was super tidy, nicely decorated and was conveniently located within short driving distance to the amazing places I planned to visit, such as Irukandji, Go Karts Go and Atmos. It's honestly a shame that we couldn't stay longer to do some of the other activities listed in the info book compiled for guests!

From reading some of the many glowing reviews prior to our stay, we were feeling pretty confident that a great Airbnb was ahead. Well, to say that Deb and Carl exceeded our expectations is an understatement. In life, every now and then we are blessed to meet some exceptional folk and these are two of them. Deb and Carl went above and beyond to ensure that our family had the most wonderful, much needed week away. They were always on hand with helpful advice and gave so many fabulous recommendations to enhance our stay. They made sure that we had everything we needed - and then some! The apartment itself is fabulous. Perfect for the four of us. We loved being such a short walk to the beach and so many amenities all within a 5 minute walk. We couldn’t recommend this more highly. Stayed for two nights with my partner. The property is located on a beautiful spot with vineyards, ponds, trees, and views of the surrounding valley. The welcome gift was very much appreciated. Would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you for hosting us!

We stayed as a family of three in Tania’s delightful Granny flat accomodation. She was such an accommodating host - very good communication at all Times and just a wonderful nature , very kind. The flat was one of the best equipped I’ve stayed in , super clean and the beds amazingly comfortable. Loved our short stay and will def be back. Highly recommend.

Christine was a wonderful host. She was there to meet us on arrival and was friendly and helpful. A care package to welcome us was provided. She had thought of everything we would need for our stay. Would highly recommend a stay at Christine’s at Seal Rocks.

The accommodation was so clean and tidy, with all the features as advertised. Very spacious and in a lovely, peaceful location.

We had the a lovely stay at Kerry's place. The cottage was beautiful, very clean and well stocked. The location is peaceful and beautiful. We especially enjoyed the gorgeous dogs saying hello! Kerry was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend and will look to come back again!

This suite was beyond our expectations! The space has lots of natural light and was super clean and felt very new. There were cool features such as the coffee machine, ice machine, bidet, open shower with skylight, frame TV, kitchen windows opened along the entire wall, and lots of lighting options. Bed was comfy. A beautiful guidebook had lists of restaurants and things to do in the area. We didn’t use the e-bikes but if we stayed longer we would’ve! It felt very private and safe. My husband and I agreed we’d book again if we ever came back to this area of Australia!

Absolutely stunning stay! The pool house was so well built and equipped with top of the range everything, I’ve never had such a high quality experience in an Airbnb, I think this will ruin other air bnbs for me going forward haha!! I feel like there was a surprise and a thoughtful addition to the stay at every turn from the delicious teas coffees alternative milks and musli to the fluffy towels and chocolates. Josie was so warm and welcoming and very responsive. The stay felt so private with such gorgeous views from the room. We chilled by the pool reading during the evening after the beach taking in the views and sipped coffee in the morning in the room looking out over the ocean. Thank you so much, we’ve recommended to our friends and we’re already looking forward to returning in the future :)

Britt’s place was wonderful and so cosy! If you’re looking for an affordable place up in Hunter Valley, Britt’s place is definitely the vibe that you want. It was really helpful that Britt had instructions and even a binder of recommendations for us, even if we only stayed for the night!

We loved our stay here. Very clean, comfy beds, full aircon,good shower, well stocked kitchen and very convenient location. We hope to return. Also very convenient to access the bistro for coffee each morning.

Our stay at Karen's property was fabulous, just the right peaceful mini break that we so needed. The whole property is beautiful, peaceful, and well looked after, you can even have a few shots of golf. We all loved the pool such a nice added Bonus, we were there every day after going to the beach (or even before some days haha), it's lovely at night with the lights. The guest house is exactly as per the photos in the ad, actually, it feels a bigger space than the photos. The kitchen is well stocked to do some cooking if needed. Our 8 yo boy loved spending time with Zoey (their dog), who is just gorgeous and has such a lovely nature, he also really enjoyed being in charge of feeding the chickens and checking for eggs :-). Karen and Richard are lovely hosts, super accommodating and friendly but also respectful of your privacy, the perfect balance. It was a lovely stay and we hope we can be back soon, our son has already asked when we can go back. Thanks again Karen and Richard :-)

Great spot to stay for the weekend. Awesome location, neat and tidy

Tammie’s place was super convenient for us! Check-in was easy and everything was readily available to use. The dishwasher came in handy! We could tell that the house was thoughtfully put together. The shower booth was very spacious which was an additional plus for us. There were a lot of towels to use. The area is quiet as well so it felt homey. Quick drive to multiple beaches! Thank you for the comfortable stay 👍🏻

We were beyond delighted with our time spent at Terri’s place. The space is beautifully furnished and Terri makes sure to go above and beyond by including a variety of homemade treats which made our stay very cozy and comforting. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bulgaria Bungalow as a wonderful place to getaway and enjoy the lovely secluded area. Thank you for being so accomodating and having us at your lovely place!

An ideal location for a person with struggles with Mental Health. Her respite period was illuminating for her and the added bonus of the internal spa bath made her transition away from home much easier than anticipated.

The location, access, the place was exactly as per description. Moe was a great communicator, even telling us where to fish and which bait to use (we had never been to Hawkes Nest before). Responded within 15 mins to all questions! The apartment was spotless well laid out, perfect for two. All amenities including large screen smart screen TV and ceiling fans. A nice touch was fixed 4 x outlet, 2 x USB boards next to the bed. While we were there it was very hot, a car port would have been appreciated! But as no one else had one, probably a Strata decision. The apartment was a block from the beach, and another block to the Surf Club. Great location.

Super easy check in and great location right by the beach. Easy to park on the street. Kitchen and bathroom has everything you would need. Elizabeth was quick to respond to my messages.
