Zanna’s was an absolutely amazing place. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was better than the pictures. All amenities were there and well maintained. The house truly feels like home. Zanna is super responsive and helpful. We absolutely loved dealing with her and we certainly would go back if we are back in Dar. 10/10 would recommend. Special mention - Dennis who was our chef for the period we stayed at Zanna’s. His food was fantastic and absolutely delicious. Plus we loved interacting with him and getting recommendations of where to go from him.

I had the pleasure of staying at Cocos Paradise in Diani, and it truly lived up to its name! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the peaceful atmosphere and lush, tropical surroundings. It's the perfect getaway if you're looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Kenyan coast. The rooms are cozy, clean, and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that make you feel right at home. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved waking up to the sounds of birds and swaying palm trees. The garden is beautifully kept and offers plenty of space to relax and even kids to play. What really stood out to me was the hospitality , the host & staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They made our stay feel personal and welcoming. From arranging transport, giving local tips, or just checking in to see if we needed anything, the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Cocos Paradise as quiet, charming, & affordable spot in Diani,. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We had an amazing stay! The house is beautiful and worked perfect for us! The pool was wonderful on the very hot days! Barak was very helpful and kind! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again one day!

We had a lovely stay, unfortunately shorter than we had planned but Katelyn was extremely accommodating and the cottage was cosy and comfortable with really nice personal touches to make us feel welcome. The cottage was also located in a great area close to everything you might need.

The Shivo Paje Villas team were amazing hosts and super friendly! Whether we needed a taxi booked or fresh towels, the team were always on hand to help us. One of the best AirBnBs my friends and I have ever stayed at and this was down to the quality of the service provided. We had the privacy of a private villa and the comforts of staying at a hotel (ie. Housekeeping each morning). The location is beautiful, minutes walk from the beach and close to many lovely restaurants. One big bonus was that the villa was within a gated compound with a security guard at the front. Each time a taxi collected us, the registration number of the vehicle was taken along with the drivers name which made us feel super safe. The security guard also escorted a food delivery driver to our door which we really appreciated as a group of women! The people of Zanzibar are some of the most amazing we’ve ever met, truly welcoming and made us feel at home.

Banu was a wonderful host! The place is absolutely dreamy—perfectly located in Kiwengwa, about an hour from Stone Town. We loved how peaceful and quiet the area was, while still being close enough to drive to other spots in Zanzibar. The home is ideal for a trip with family or friends—spotlessly clean and fully equipped with all the amenities you could need. Banu went above and beyond by providing large quantities of bottled water and laundry detergent, and she was super responsive and helpful with any additional resources we needed. I would definitely come back—I'm already missing it!

We had a fantastic stay at Mwanana House! Of all the places we've stayed in Kenya (there are many), the team at the house were the best. We were so well looked after - Antonina catered after our every whim without being asked and preempting our every need, Karisa cooked us the best meals every day, and Katana kept the pool and garden beautifully clean. This team thought of everything with incredible attention to detail and with great patience around small kids. Thank you so much

We had a wonderful stay at Tower House. The house is lovely, well appointed, and has incredible views. The staff and management of the house made for a seamless stay. This house is well located for exploring Kilifi Creek. We will be back.

This place is definitely worth your time looking at. I thought I’d miss being right at the beach, but honestly, we looked forward to coming ‘home’ to Joseph and David and the calm, quiet, cool of Ruby House. We spent time reading, playing games, reconnecting and resting, as well as swimming and bobbing in the creek - listening and watching birds. It is so peaceful - chatting with fishermen, and just taking in the surroundings. We went for a few day trips- the Gede ruins are well worth an hour of your time, sand dunes north of malindi were great. And we LOVED Garoda Beach - much less seaweed and less busy. I could not speak more highly of the staff - they were present but not, flexible, understanding and really wanted to help make your time enjoyable. The rooms were so comfortable. I think it may be a little hot in the very hot month, but it gets a lovely breeze and there is always the one room to escape into for an afternoon nap if necessary - but we didn’t need to do this. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay. Katie was always friendly and responsive, and Beatrice, Anderson and Ngala made our time extra peacfeul. We loved having Sophie the cat around. The house is a short tuk-tuk drive away from the creek with some really wonderful restaurants around. It's exactly as showed on the pictures, we slept in the lower two rooms as we visited just as the raint season started and the top bedroom is a little exposed, but very beautiful if you're staying in the dry season. Would really recommend :)

Friendly host and very responsive and helpful

We really enjoyed our stay at Ingrid's place. The ability to walk out directly to the beach was incredible - as well as the night bed! It was very clean and the flexible check-in worked out very well for us as we were running a little late. Overall, great stay and well worth it.

I would and will always recommend this cozy home if you are a private and a peaceful person. Very beautiful home, clean and so nice. It will always be first choice whenever i need a private and peaceful time. The hosts are lovely, really straightforward and friendly. I love the home. Big up

2 weeks in this house was really peaceful and nice. The general manager Mudy and also Anna were very proactive. The house is situated in a very quiet environment and we could walk 15 minutes to Kendwa beach. Otherwise we took moto taxis. I really recommand this place

Wonderful stay. One of it’s kind. Worth every penny. Ken, our cook, prepared nothing but a variety of delicious meals. Josephine, the adorable, is a very unique lady with a heart of gold. Rachelle, the manager, made our stay very remarkable. As far as the guards, they went above and beyond at making sure we were safe and well cared for. This place is s gem, and if accepted back, we will definitely visit again. If ever up for sale, please let us know. My family would love to call that property home. Thank you so much for such great experience.

We had a very happy easy time. Lamu was hot and steamy and do the fans and breezes were welcome from the great design of the house. Lawrence the chef, host and general in charge person was a delight as was Philip.

William is an excellent host!! He was always responsive when I would message him. The place was so accommodating with all modern amenities! Super clean too and Beds were comfortable! The place is in a very convenient area near shopping mall and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect place to stay on a budget! Location was very easy to find. Restaurants, beach and amenities are very close by. Cissie was a great host and very responsive, helpful with recommendations as well.Definitely got value for my money. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely house on the beach just next to Treehouse Watamu. The location is excellent, the staff very friendly, and the house has lots of spots to relax and hangout. It also has a nice pool, good mosquito nets and lots of fans. The ocean is a 3 minute walk and this particular stretch of beach is peaceful, empty and hassle free. The house has two good sized double rooms with a bunkbed (double down, single up) in a small corridor. It fit our family of five perfectly. Will definitely be back.
