Family-friendly holiday rentals in Great Smoky Mountains

Our stay was enjoyable, especially with the close proximity to waterfall hiking trails and excellent local cuisine. The backyard was perfect for our dog, and we appreciated the cozy living room and blackout curtains, which made relaxing easy after long days outdoors.

My group enjoyed our stay. The view is very beautiful and the house is gorgeously decorated. Beds were great and it slept 7 people very comfortably. We only had a few minor qualms with the place: the ice machine was completely overflowed and wouldn’t stop producing ice, so anytime you opened the freezer, a ton of ice would fall onto the floor. The host only provides a bar of soap and no shampoo, but I think it is pretty standard to provide at least shampoo, especially at the price point. The shower is gorgeous though. They had two coffee machines, but didnt provide and coffee. The propane tank on the grill was completely empty and we figured that out after we prepped everything to grill. Plus the igniter button was missing, so we couldn’t light it without physically using a lighter anyways. The propane for the outdoor fireplace only lasted about 20 minutes before it kicked the bucket too. Other than that, the stay was great! Those are just minor issues that we noticed.

This cabin was everything we wanted and more, beautiful private deck with a hot tub, and a double panel fireplace. The pictures shown don't give this place justice. Both Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge are approximately 10ish minutes from the cabin which we loved being away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough.

VIEWS !!! This little gem is nestled on the mountain side perfect for a quiet, restful getaway. You really won’t want to leave but if you do, Brevard is easy to get to and the cutest little mountain town. The space was clean and we enjoyed the hot tub, the coziness of the cabin and ability to bring our fur babies. The sunrise and sunset are amazing from the cabin. Simple and beautiful escape!! You won’t regret staying here !

The Treehouse was pretty and comfortable. We had everything we needed in kitchen, plus plenty of linens and blankets. The fireplace and hot tub added to the experience. Brandon provided advice on getting to the cabin that helped us navigate the challenging mountain roads that I think had been impacted by the hurricane. This cabin was very cozy, but also large enough for the 4 of us to hang out, dine and sleep comfortably and could have easily accommodated a couple more. Due to weather we did not use the grounds but the view was as pictured and would be lovely, for a spring or fall visit.

You can’t beat the views from this location. Breathtaking! Cindy was very communicative and responsive to questions. We had one minor issue but she had maintenance there quickly to have things repaired and we were back in business. Thank you for the great stay!

I missed something and thought it was 2 bedrooms because the same bedroom was pictured twice with different furniture arrangement. It has 1 very comfortable bed. Great location on quiet street in nice setting. A couple of lawn chairs would be a nice addition. Wonderful host. I plan to return.

Nice location in a great little town right near the Appalachian Trail. Had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend.

The cabin has a cozy feeling and is located nice and secluded at the end of a neighborhood, with plenty of privacy. Due to the weather we did not get to enjoy the outside but the bonfire looks like a great place to sit outside with family or friends. When booking, we didn’t realize the upstairs bedroom does not have a door, although this did not bother us because it was just my wife and I. We would go definitely come back here. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with.

THE VIEWS. A wonderful stay. A beautiful location. Above and beyond accommodations for a large family with kids. The cutest cabin with SO many beds. Tiffany was a fantastic and communicative host. Our family is looking forward to coming back already planning something for next year. If you are looking for something reasonable in price but not lacking in space and activities for a family gathering this is definitely the cabin. And did I mention the VIEWS

We had a lovely relaxing vacation on the beautiful acreage! The home met all of our needs & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We’ve been coming to this area of TN for many years but Daniel’s place is the most serene we’ve ever encountered!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful homestead! 😊

Inside, A-Frame of Mind felt spacious and very comfortable for our family of three + our pooch. With 3 levels of living space it felt much more open than other A-frames we’ve visited. All the systems & appliances worked and the beds were also comfortable…which can be a make or break for our vacations. Outside, there are neighbors close but things felt surprisingly private due to how the house is oriented on the mountainside. We were in a HD truck and had snow & ice during our visit. This made the last section of road and driveway a bit challenging due to the angles, but overall the road in is very well maintained.

Cute clean bungalow in a great location. We enjoyed hanging out by the fire pit, shopping at yonder, visiting antique shops in Dillard, coffee shop in Clayton (white birch), eating at Gracious Plates in Franklin (delicious) and hiking tallulah falls. We didn’t make it to a brewery as we had planned but there are ones within walking distance (20 min or so). It rained the majority of the weekend but we stayed cozy and dry playing games and sipping on wine. Thank you for a fantastic Valentine’s Day weekend!

We booked this trip to celebrate my Dad’s birthday and to go to Gold City Gem Mine. It’s his favorite thing to do when in the mountains. Lisa’s Place was perfect for our stay. It was very spacious, clean and well stocked for all our needs for the week. Lisa was so kind and surprised us with a bottle of champagne and some New Years goodies to help bring in the new year. Even though they were above us during the stay we hardly heard them the whole stay. Very quiet and peaceful place to spend time in the mountains. We will definitely be back.

My stay at Matt’s condo was absolutely wonderful! I only wish I had planned for a couple more nights. It was a beautiful view and he was honest with me about it being a sunset view but I also enjoyed beautiful sunrises with how the light hit the mountains. There was more than enough room for just me and the fireplace was a plus! It was comfy and cozy and Matt had so much info and recommendations for places to visit, eat and sightsee. I truly enjoyed my solo trip and will definitely stay at one of Matt’s places again. He was a wonderful, responsive host!

We spent 5 days here with some extended family. It was an awesome family vacation! The place was clean, had plenty of extra linens, the fireplace was cozy and the hot tub was hot!! We loved it!

Phil's home was absolutely gorgeous! The downstairs shower was amazing and totally worth the stay.

Julie's place was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for our 11th anniversary. It had many fun characteristics, such as the heart-shaped jacuzzi tub in the kitchen/living space and the triangle-shaped bedroom. It was also clean, cozy, and within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg. We will stay here again.

Had a relaxing weekend at this property. The kitchen is fully stocked. If you want to bake a cake you can, if you want to make a smoothie you can! 10/10 highly recommend. Thanks Michael, hope to visit again.

This is our second time staying here, perfect for a couple, best price around and super cozy and fun, also convenient to everything. An uber to anywhere in pigeon forge is 5-7$

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The views from the house are incredible. It is very peaceful. The place was clean. Nina was very helpful and responsive when needed. We used the pool and hot tub, which was a short walk down the driveway. I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting the area!

The location is fantastic! Very close in but just far enough off the main roads that you feel you’re in the woods. We love hearing the train at Dollywood and watching the fireworks. The hosts are very responsive and have great recommendations if you need it. Will definitely be staying here again.
