Heading downtown, there are tennis and basketball courts, a baseball field, a public boat launch, a library, and 2 charming parks. Downtown, there are shops, restaurants, a city park, marinas, and a beach. There are festivals, concerts, a farmer’s market, and craft fairs. Year-round, the Thrasher Opera House has a variety of live entertainment options. Nature conservancies, hiking trails, and golf courses are nearby.

View incredible sunsets over Green Lake from the home's large windows. A Fisherman and Hunter's paradise! Spacious newly renovated home. The Green Lake Chalet has plenty of trailer parking along with an indoor fish/game cleaning station. It's also less than 1 mile from the County Park public boat launch. Consider this home base--other activities include hiking, biking, golfing, shopping, and wineries. When back at the house you can choose to grill-out, relax on the deck, or use the newly installed firepit. Reilly’s Pub is also a short walk from the house.

Cottage on the Pond - Big Green Lake

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families, and furry friends (dogs limit 2 $50 fee). Enjoy the peace and beauty of the pond (sorry, no fishing) while just across the street from beautiful Green Lake. Lots of room outside for the kids to roam. Easy walk to the beach. (see satellite map picture). There is a public launch nearby and plenty of room to keep your boat on the side lawn. Hiking trails, White River Marsh, and Fox River are all nearby.
