Holiday rentals with lake access in Greenbrier County

The house was easy to find and easy to access. Google maps took us right in. The owner provided directions which were easy to use and made it easy to find. The house was really cool. The log cabin side nostalgic. The loft was wonderful. The wife and I were able to sit and talk. First time in a few years away from the children so even more special. The hammock chair on the porch was my favorite part.

We loved our stay at Pond View Paradise! So many things about being there brought back nostalgic memories of living in West Virginia: the natural stone steps leading to the porch, the sound of the springs when opening the screen door, the walking sticks, the wooden interior of the entire cabin, the quilts and soft sheets, antique furniture, old stereo with am/fm radio…I cherished all the little things that made everything feel so cozy. We ran out of sugar and Mary walked over and brought us some and it was very nice meeting her. The trails and ponds were beautiful, and something that really sets this Air B&B apart from others! This will be my go-to cabin from now on when visiting family in West Virginia.

Great cottage stay near Summersville Lake. Beautiful pond in rear of property to sit and enjoy viewing while having my morning coffee. Easy walk to Fat Eddie's for the best ice cream. Just a couple minutes drive to the boat ramp, walking trails, restaurants, etc.

We absolutely loved Matthew’s rental. It felt so cozy and homey and exceeded my expectations. My family spent Thanksgiving there and we could not have been in a better place. We also appreciated the fact that we could bring our dog! Matthew was super responsive and we were also impressed on all of the extra supplies that were provided.

Thank you so much, Autumn! We had the best time in your cute cabin for our family Christmas vacation. You were so helpful and kind. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a home away from home feel with excellent hosts. If we’re ever back in WV we would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. This was our 3rd year doing fall trips and this was the perfect place to stay. So close to The New River Gorge National Park, it was perfect.

For me personally, this was my favorite Airbnb i have rented. I needed the seclusion, one of those getaway from everywhere type vacations and this fit that perfect. The pool on the lake was so cool along with the sauna, i was there everyday. Its 20 minties from town but there are some very goos restaurants and its 1 hiur from new river gorge with very scenic drives. We will be back!.

Aaron was a great host. Extremely responsive via text / phone call for a few questions we had about the house. The house itself was great. Very old with rustic charm which we loved. We really enjoyed sitting out on the front porch and the foliage was gorgeous in the front yard. Photos were very accurate. The only negative I would say is that the king bedroom on the front of the house that overlooks the main road is very loud, which was a little disruptive for sleep/ naps for our toddler even with a sound machine on. Beds were very comfortable and none of the other guests noticed the street noise because of their room locations were farther away. Town was very sleepy which is what we expected! We enjoyed the playground in walking distance, dinner out, lunch out, and the nearby brewery was fun. Boys went to a golf course nearby that was much cheaper than GB. Overall, we had a very enjoyable trip!

love the vibe of the place, from the nostalgia of the living quarters to the 50's themed soda shop. if you love to bake or like old fashion milkshakes, you can make them here. They have all the things to enjoy. Deer in the yard in the morning.
