Host and the family are amazing! They made us feel so welcomed and at home. They described and listed the property perfectly. Beds and rooms were comfortable, restrooms worked, shower has good water pressure, and kitchen is as described. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brooke's place. We were there for an ECU football game and it was an easy location to be. Quick uber ride to the game as well as near grocery stores gas food etc. Brooke's communication was stellar and we had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfy and kitchen was well stocked with anything you may need. We will definitely stay again when in Greenville. Can't recommend her place enough!

We felt at home at the cottage and enjoyed the quiet of being this close to the water. Bob was very responsive. We will come again if we are back in the area

Wonderful home for our big family. Very comfortable and lots of room for our family of eight. Very kid-friendly! Plenty of cookware, towels, toilet paper, etc. - all the little things. Host was very friendly and sent plenty of specific instructions to make our stay great. Loved that there was a Christmas tree for our Christmas stay - would have been sad to have no tree at Christmas.

Very clean, and comfortable home. The kitchen had all we needed to prepare what we brought in. I could hear the traffic on the busy hwy, noise wasn't significant enough to disturb my zen. The towels and linens were in good condition

Des is the ultimate host. The house is well stocked with plenty of room to relax. TVs in all the bedrooms as well as mini fridges. Very comfortable and Des is a great communicator. Thank you again for a great time. Our golfers love it.

I have stayed here since December for a work assignment. Danielle is always a responsive host. There was an issue with the plumbing/septic and I had to move out for the night. Danielle put me up in a hotel overnight and had the problem resolved the next day. While very inconvenient I appreciated everything she did. The one issue I had is with the cleanliness after the workers were done. Left all the wet towels in the bathtub and the bathroom floor was not cleaned up. Minor thing. Otherwise excellent place to stay. Will stay there again for sure.

The cottage was an oasis with beautiful outdoor and indoor spaces. So peaceful. Short walk/shorter drive into downtown New Bern and an hour from the beach. The hosts were very communicative and thoughtful.

What a beautiful historic home! Perfect to visit the historic town of New Bern! We felt like we were stepping back in time, staying in Peter's lovely home filled with antiques. The house may be old but all the amenities were modern and plentiful. We had more than we could need! We highly recommend it and would love to visit again!

This beautiful little farm house felt just like home the moment we pulled in. The photos do not do this home justice. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. I prefer to unpack immediately and there was tons of space for our clothes, shoes and toiletries. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals, I appreciated the coffee, creamer and sugar being available on arrival. We also took advantage of the outdoor firepit despite the weather, we enjoyed it so much. This was the perfect place to escape, rest, and reconnect with my family.

Our stay at the Southern Comfort Retreat was the perfect gateway while my husband and I were in town for a wedding. The home was adorable and clean. It was perfect for our pup with the fenced in backyard and walk-able town. We were also close to Greenville, and Winterville, which had dog friendly restaurants. It was a great stay!

This Home was everything, The Host was Amazing, Very understanding of what I was going through before booking an was Very supportive..I didn't want to leave, but overall the home was a 10/10.. Thank You ❤️

When I booked this home I chose it for the space and colors that seemed super kid-friendly. What I did not realize was the home backs up directly to the railroad tracks! The train came through multiple times a day and multiple drivers waved to my son who was jumping up and down with excitement waving to them. It made it so much more fun for my family. The yard is also totally fenced which was super nice for outside play with kids.

Leslie’s place was great for what my son and I needed it for. Her place felt “homey” which was nice because my son seemed comfortable hanging out and playing, just as he does at home. Overall, I would stay here again the next time I plan to visit the area.
