Holiday rentals in Griffy Lake

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday at this very spacious lake house. I would say they have the best view on the lake! We had everything we needed to host Thanksgiving dinner for family and loved ones. We especially enjoyed the hot tub! The only thing that could’ve made this better was if the weather had been just a little warmer so we could have sat on the swing in the lower level screened in porch. Great place for a family gathering!

very peaceful location and space was large enough to accommodate everyone in our group. The house decor was beautiful. We definitely enjoyed our time there.

We stayed at Cara’s place while our daughter attended Admitted Student’s weekend at IU and it was perfect. We ate in B-town on Friday and Saturday after college events, and were able to spend time relaxing as a family at night. It helped us focus on when our daughter took in each day so she could make important decisions and we loved the amenities and beautiful scenery. The drive is easy and we would love to come back in the summer/fall!

What a wonderful cabin! I loved all the historical details and the remodel. It was so comfortable and clean. The hot tub was fantastic and we loved being so close to all the Nashville activities.

We were a group of 4 old friends and our younger kids. Everything about this place was perfect for our get away. There are essentially two sides of the house with 2 kitchens. So when some of the kids wanted to be wild, the others could retreat to the other side of the house for more peace and quiet. The hot tub was amazing for everyone. The swing is all it's cracked up to be - a must try. We LOVED the beds - I am very particular with beds and these were wonderful. They are not too firm, but firm enough with what felt like a bamboo foam topper - perfect. Kitchens were perfectly stocked with all the supplies we needed. This really is the best place to go if you want to unwind and relax with friends and family. Remote enough to feel like an escape, but not too far removed that it's hard to find. The only thing we regret is not staying longer! We will definitely be back. Thank you Ken!!

Perfect little cabin for the weekend! The large window near the bed is absolutely amazing. It was my favorite thing about the trip, because it was so cozy looking out to the woods. Everything was clean and as described. We had our two corgis with us, and I would only suggest to walk them off the road and not near the woods. Even in the first days of March, we had found 4 small ticks on them. After we started walking them on the road, we didn’t find any on them after outings. We always appreciate the little details too. Loved the little basket with drinks, bug wipes, s’mores kit and there was even firewood. They provided bowls for the dogs, towels and even a treat and poop bags.

We loved staying in Theresa’s cabin! We had a last minute change in our vacation plans and was able to book that day with Theresa. She had responded within the hour! She was kind and her details were great. We loved the privacy of the cabin’s location and the lake view. The cabin was clean and loved the open floor plan. The wraparound deck would be beautiful in the spring and fall. I loved waking up to snow our last morning and the view was a winter wonderland. I’m recommending this cabin to all my friends and family!

The home is located in an area where you can really relax and enjoy the outdoors while still being near lots of shops and restaurants. Marji is a wonderful host and stays in communication with you from reservation to check out with clear instructions and information (the light switches are even labeled)! I especially appreciated the concise listing of basic instructions for everything, making it easy to follow, but not get overwhelmed by a long list of things to do. She quickly answered even the most random questions and even offered to let us check in early if needed. It was just a wonderful experience!

Thank you again, this place was a perfect venue to view the eclipse from. Being so close to Brown County Park was another reason I selected this place. The location offered privacy, being just outside of town. The outdoor dining area was wonderful and the view off the deck from the hot tub was spectacular! Patty communicated well in advance of my trip, offering clear direction on checking in, the expectations for check out, and everything in between.
