Holiday rentals in Gringley on the Hill

We had a lovely 3 night stay. What really made it for us was Laura and ash’s kindness and warmth, the location and the beautiful outside space including the great hot tub. It’s such a peaceful location with country/woodland walks from the front door but villages/amenities within easy reach. There are loads of lovely places to visit within 30 mins drive. The chalet is exactly as shown in the photos. It’s not brand new but was warm, comfy and clean with everything in good working order. We all slept well. The shower is not the most powerful but we found it fine. I think it’s really good value for what is on offer.

Amazing host! We have a lovely bank holiday weekend away with the family. Ropa left us everything we needed, from a travel cot to a variety of games to keep us occupied for our long weekend away. We would definitely recommend this place and we can’t wait to return!

We spent Christmas at Rodica's place and she made sure that it felt just like home. She managed to decorate for us and the place was spotless. Communication was great and whenever we had an issue or query she was very responsive and went out of her way to accommodate us. We look forward to another stay soon.

Martin was very friendly first of all. The place was so easy to find! We were given perfect instructions on how to get there and 2 different contact numbers if we needed anything (I’ve not had this before). Martin there to welcome us straight away, we rang later on as we needed help with the BBQ. His wife answered our call right away and Martin popped over and helped my boyfriend with the gas. The hot tub was pre heated to the perfect temperature. Huge list of recommendations for places to eat/ explore. We went for a lovely 6 mile walk around Clumber Park and had a meal I believe at the Baytree? The bed was one of the comfiest beds I have slept on! The only minor I would say is it could’ve been a little cleaner, I knew the floors had been swept but I did re-sweep, a few stains on the shower glass and the glasses had to be re washed. Also the lights outside didn’t work, although some did on the second night? However fab experience over all, great hosts and I would return. Thank you!

We used the house as an overnight stay which was perfect for the two of us and our dog. The house was very clean and tidy. The garden secure and a good size. The location was ideal with a few local pubs, take aways, etc. A comfortable stay.

Or fantastic place very quiet to relax good swimming pool and hot tub nice land for taking photos great memories for all ower family I hope I can go again

Lucinda was a fantastic host and the property was beautiful! Even down to the finest details, we had everything to hand and couldn’t have possibly needed anything else, the surrounding area was so peaceful and beautiful, we will definitely be returning here! The host even helped us when we had car trouble, going above and beyond to support us!

We just visited and had the most brilliant time, the Airbnb was a walk from the Lincoln Centre and upon arrival we were greeted by great hosts who gave us a tour of the property and a few excellent recommendations. The property was perfect for the two of us and squeaky clean! The hot tub was great and very easy to use, we even were able to order takeaway to the cottage despite its quiet and obscure location. The bottle of bubbly left in the fridge for us was a perfect addition to the stay. For any cat lovers special mention for the two propriety cats who we absolutely adored! We would not hesitate to return one day in the future and will be sure to recommend to our friends and family for their own visits.

Really enjoyed my stay, Tami was really approachable when needed, we were working locally, and we appreciated the location and cleanliness of the property, we will definitely use this property again.
