Lake house holiday rentals in Großer Sternberger See

A great cottage on a beautiful spot on earth. We felt very comfortable and had a great holiday week right on the lake. The house of Nina and her family was the most amazing cottage we have been so far! Especially for families with children an absolute recommendation, about books, wooden railway, bobby car and beach toys, absolutely everything is on site! Also as adults we enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and fireplace. We booked Ms. Hoppe as a mobile masseuse, also absolutely recommended. We will definitely be back, value for money is absolutely fine with such a lovingly furnished house.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful house! It was perfectly clean, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for two relaxing nights. The location was quiet but still easily accessible, and the host was very friendly and helpful. We would come back anytime – highly recommended!

The place has a beautiful view of the lake as seen in the pictures. We all liked the open kitchen to the living room. The bathrooms were also clean. For 4 people, everything worked out wonderfully. The only thing that was negatively noticed in the beginning was that the heater was still turned off. We had hot water, but unfortunately the radiators didn't run. But after a staff member came in a short time, we made the heating work. (The staff was super friendly and really took care of everything, definitely keep the man!)

Great apartment, sparkling clean, super nice hosts, lots of seating in the beautiful garden, homemade strawberry jam and delicious strawberries complemented our breakfast, rolling dog, nice conversations with tips for excursions. The bikes are great. Bützow is a cute town and perfect location for many excursions. Will be happy to come back again. We can recommend it.

The Finnhütte is located in a very quiet protected landscape area, in the middle of a Finn house settlement. If you only want to listen to the sounds of nature, this is the place! The coat lake is within walking distance, around it is forest & meadow. The cabin is comfortably furnished. The bathroom is modern, the kitchen well equipped, the living room cozy. Tall people have to retract their heads under the roof:) Overall very cozy! The slatted base was broken when I arrived, and Gesa had sent someone to fix the slatted base the next day. All this all around Christmas hadn't expected such a quick solution. It was a very relaxed and quiet stay.

We had lovely days and the house was nicely decorated. There was actually nothing missing. The neighbor doesn't seem very excited about the rental next door. You won't be greeted...the house is really nicely located. If you're looking for peace and quiet from everyday life, this is the place to be. Dörthe as a host is very nice and the communication was also very nice. We were there over New Year's Eve Here you should know that there is NO slamming in the nearby area. The men had to leave with the kids by car to hit a few blasts. That was ok for us.

We had a very nice time in Plau am See in Annette's beautiful, cozy accommodation. Everything was straightforward and warm. We will be happy to come back! Dirk, Anja and Friedchen

A modern accommodation in (accurate, low season) quiet location with direct views of the lake in front. It is at the end of the holiday village there. The front garden is stylishly planted. The garden with large lawn fully fenced. Adjacent is a volleyball court, canoe rental and unobtrusive disposal area for accumulating household waste. The main view from inside is primarily directed to the lake located in the south. In the upstream, another house will probably find its place, so the direct, level view from the window could block the view of the lake. Versatile inside, very clean. Sauna and roof terrace were my highlight. Shopping for daily needs accessible by bicycle. Lots of forest for walking. Very reliable contact, willing to compromise and accommodating. Thank you

We felt very comfortable in the house. It was all very clean and worked great. The furnishings are of high quality. Personally, I would not have any back pain for the first time on vacation because the mattresses are great - thanks for that 😁❤️ Thomas was always available and helpful. Overall, I liked the location of the house and that you could start well from there to do something. The sauna and also the hot tub have given us relaxation. It was still too fresh for us to grill, but the terrace absolutely invites you. I can imagine coming back 🥰

We (3 families) had a great vacation together. Whether on the water, comfortably by the campfire, eating together at the table or playing board games. It was great vacation in beautiful scenery that invites you to stroll. There was just about everything in the apartments. Thank you so much 🙂

Highly recommended and definitely worth a trip. Super beautiful surroundings, 4 min. to the beach. There are many excursion destinations nearby, there is no boredom. The accommodation is simply top spacious and large and there is just everything you need. The building management was very warm and tried to fulfill every wish. We were super satisfied and can only say top location, top accommodation, super landlord.

A beautiful place with enchanting views on a terrain that invites both families and couples to relax, unwind or discover. The warm temperatures were not noticeable in the tiny house, so it was easy to get to sleep in the evening to be able to jump into the cool water the next day. Always happy to come back!

This place is a clear secret: in the middle of the forest is the beautiful Airbnb, the pictures are not almost justified with the beautiful nature that surrounds the Airbnb. From the kitchen you have a beautiful view of horses, you can enjoy a coffee in the garden in the morning and hear the birds chirping. We will definitely be back again! This place has enchanted us and is ideal to get away from the stressful everyday life.

Our stay in this charming Mediterranean summer house on the Mecklenburg Lake District was simply magical! The house is perfectly located, surrounded by idyllic nature and the glittering lakes that invite you to relax and explore. The loving decor with Mediterranean flair creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately creates a vacation mood. We were particularly impressed by the spacious terrace, which is ideal for cozy evenings with a glass of wine. The proximity to the water allows for spontaneous swimming trips or relaxing walks. Stefan & Christian were extremely friendly and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. An absolute insider tip for those seeking tranquility and relaxation in a fantastic environment. We will definitely be back!

With 6 friends, we had a wonderful stay in Groß Upahl. Since we cooked a lot together, we were very grateful for the really perfectly equipped kitchen. Crockery was also available in sufficient quantity for so many people. The decor is very tasteful. We especially enjoyed the fireplace room with the extensive library and music collection. Despite the wet and cold weather, we took some hikes and of course visited Güstrow with its Barlach memorials. Various potters, carpenters and basket weavers are based in Lenzen. A visit is highly recommended.

Anne was a super hostess. We felt very comfortable with her. The house is huge and furnished with a lot of love for detail. We can highly recommend it and look forward to our next visit.

We had a very nice stay at Robin's apartment. Check-in was no problem and Robin was available at all times. The apartment is highly recommended, it is very cozy and quiet. The old town is in walking distance. The immediate surroundings are less beautiful, as there are some building ruins and vacant houses, but this does not affect the apartment, but rather the charm of Malchow. All in all, we can 100% recommend the place. Thank you!

We enjoyed the holiday very much, the rooms were very lovingly furnished and we immediately felt comfortable. Many extras like a fire bowl and BBQ on the terrace have enriched our evenings. Also the surrounding area offers many excursion destinations, such as the spa area of Basthorst Castle, the lake (with great raft drive!), a beach day on the island of Poel or city sightseeing in Schwerin and Wismar. We will definitely come back again, as much remained undiscovered or was so nice that there is a need for repetition!

We spent a week in Nadine's cottage with the family and our two hunting dogs. The house is super cozy and quietly located. The garden is perfectly fenced and with a campfire and covered terrace exactly to our taste. We were able to use the boat and watch beavers and otters live. The surroundings are great for hiking and relaxing. For other activities, you have to allow some travel time. We really liked it, highly recommended for all those looking for peace. Nadine is a very warm and helpful hostess.
