The perfect little getaway near Olympic National Park! Just as described and in a very peaceful neighborhood. My friends and I had a great time and our favorite part was the backyard.

Shannon went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable after a long drive! Responsive when we had any questions. Liam was great with communication as well. This cabin we didn’t want to leave, it’s so cozy and has more than you need for a relaxing peaceful getaway, fire pit outside, hot tub, fire inside, we will be back, walk to Kinsol Trestle bridge, close drive to lake. Thanks Shannon and hosts for a relaxing getaway. Can’t wait to come back.

This was the air b and b of my dreams. It was spotlessly clean, had everything you needed for cooking and fantastic amenities. The beautiful views, the hot tub right outside the door, private dock, kayaks and all the surrounding natural beauty, made there no real reason to leave. The air b and b was a site all within itself. My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and found it to be the perfect re-set. We are so happy that we found this little oasis and will definitely be back.

Loved it! The host was very responsive and always helpful! We enjoyed utilizing the hot tub, grill, and fire pit which all were functional. The parking was great to fit all 3 cars we took. From the windows you could even see the water a bit! Great deal for what you are getting, I hope to enjoy another stay here soon!

What an incredibly peaceful gem this space is! The cabin is jaw-dropping when you first walk in - gorgeous with huge windows, beautiful wood everywhere, and comfortable, clean and modern furniture. The fireplace was cozy and easy to use and the kitchen well-stocked. Master bedroom with huge windows and the sound of the creek had such a relaxed vibe. Steam shower is incredible! Linens top notch. Easy to find and very private property, completely surrounded by nature. Only issue we had was hot tub was cold when we arrived and it took hours to heat up so we missed out on it our first day. 10/10 recommend and would love to return.

Great location with easy access to the park and to the shops and restaurants in Port Angeles. The house is in a very quiet area and has everything you need. As stated in the property description and reviews, there is no cell service and the WiFi is slow to the point that it has limited use.

The cottage was great for our family of 5! Equipped with beach towels, toys, and even a mini cooler - this makes beach going easy. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the beds and sofa beds were all comfy! Thanks so much for a great stay!

What a lovely stay! The accomodations were very clean and well appointed, and I loved all the windows! The farm animals were delightful, the goats would greet me every time I went outside (waiting for carrots of course!). Lots of sun for most of the day, it was so nice to sit outside on the deck in the sunshine watching the animals. And the hottub was very relaxing and private. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

We had such a lovely stay at Raquel’s place! Raquel was super responsive and easy to communicate with—she gave us lots of helpful info about the area, and when we ran out of pancake mix, she even brought us a new bag (so thoughtful!). The place itself is really cute and peaceful, with cows nearby and a sweet big black cat we got to meet. It’s in a great location too—right off the main road and just a minute away from a cider place we really enjoyed. The room was spotless and well equipped. We appreciated the selection of teas, the automatic coffee machine, and even dog biscuits—it’s clear a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. There were a few harmless ants here and there, but honestly nothing to complain about. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Scott’s place for our 1 year anniversary was absolutely perfect. We are so happy we chose to stay outside of downtown Friday Harbor & got to enjoy the island for 3 nights. We will be back to stay here again in the future. Amazingly cozy bed, perfect deck to enjoy morning coffee, sooooo peaceful (soul healing) and we felt so welcome at Scott’s cabin. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for light bites & snacks between meals (for us) with an adorable retro refrigerator. Highly recommend for anyone that is looking to enjoy downtown Friday Harbor + all of the surrounding spots on the island ( Roche Harbor, Westcott Bay Shellfish Farm, Cattle point Road/lighthouse, English Camp, etc). Each stop felt like a very easy drive, and we saw so much unexpected beauty. Thank you very much to Scott and his wife for the PERFECT stay.

Had a very peaceful stay at this place with amazing Mt. Baker in backdrop and also got to see the full moon in full glory against the sea water. One could enjoy the sunrise on a clear day which we did and to watch sunset it is a few mins drive and we enjoyed that as well. Overall a clean and cozy place to spend some quiet and peaceful time by the bay.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this cabin. It's very spacious and comfortable. We traveled with a baby and large dog and this cabin met all of our needs. The space was also very welcoming and clean, we could truly rest. The hosts made the entire experience seamless.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Lake Sutherland and the Mallard Cove location is perfect. This location is ideal for a blend of hiking and visiting Port Angeles. The cabin is perfect for couples who are looking to get away and cook dinner at home. Great kitchen set up and super nice grill. We can’t wait to come back in the summer for kayaking and other outdoor activities!

Very comfortable, clean cabin in a beautiful, convenient location. Comfortable fold-out sofa bed and spacious rooms. Only downsides: cabin doesn’t get much natural light and even with interior lighting, still felt a bit dark. Also, a Keurig coffee machine would be a much-appreciated amenity to add!

We were only guests at Aletta for one night, but we thoroughly enjoyed it! The location of the house is unique. The furnishings were very beautiful and minimalist. The short walk to the beach is wonderful! Simply a dream place! We would come back anytime…

Very comfortable cabin. We cooked five great meals in the well equipped kitchen. I would enthusiastically recommend The Captain's Cabin in Port Renfrew to friends and family.

Brian and Shannon are some of the best hosts I've ever met. They have exceptional hospitality, are super cool and are realizing such a stunning vision of their property. Hosting a pizza night was an unexpected treat and got to meet other guests. It is a slice of heaven. From the sauna and cold plunge to the hot tub and fire pit and bbq to the wonderful setting nestled in trees this place exceeded expectations. I biked from Vancouver with the Sunshine Coast connector for one cheat leg. It's not that hard to get to and loved having my bike to explore. Go to Emily's lake for a trail run. Also as a solo female traveller I felt very safe. Recommend and hope to be back.

Perfect cozy place. Brad shared the check-in instructions and address which were super helpful to locate the stay. If you are planning to drive at night then make sure to download offline maps and instructions. The washrooms well maintained. Note: this is not for people who are looking for spacious room. It can fit two suitcases and place to walk.
