Family-friendly holiday rentals in Guzmán Abajo

We had a lovely stay at Lydia’s place! The condo was as described and our family enjoyed the space and location. We mostly enjoyed the pool and surrounding areas while we were in Loiza, and it was just what we needed for some r&r. Lydia was responsive and accommodating to a few minor issues we had- thank you so much Lydia for making our trip so special! For other travelers- we did not rent a car and used Uber to get to/from the resort and to the nearby grocery store. Took a little planning ahead but all in all was a great option for us and saved us a lot of $. I would recommend this rental! It was just what our family of six needed to relax and enjoy time together.

Wonderful stay in Oscar's condo. The views from the balcony were great as was the sand beach just steps away. The beach never had more than 10 people on it which made it seem almost secluded even though it is a pretty large resort. The pool area was great, area restaurants were also equally as great. Very short drive to El Yunque which we spent a day at. Arrive early as road construction up the mountain drops down to one lane more than once and backs traffic up quite a bit as crowds increase. The condo itself was great. Large, spacious, plenty of room for two families to spread out. Highly recommend Oscar's place

We enjoyed the beautiful view, with the outside deck being where we spent almost all of our time. The place was spotless and well appointed. In addition to the amenities located right in front of the condo, we also enjoyed walking to dinner at the restaurants at the resort next door. It was so easy and perfect for our vacation. Geoff was super responsive with any questions that we had. I would definitely stay here again!

Fabian’s condo was wonderful for our family. Everything was clean and in good condition. The pools are beautiful and clean. Some pools are heated and others aren’t so you get a nice choice. There are many friendly animals (dogs, cats, chickens) roaming the area which is sort of fun. The animals don’t bother with you they just hang out. The beach is small but private and a good place to hang out. The location is close to the rainforest and the main departure sites for many activities however the local town has very little to do. Overall a really great place to stay while enjoying Puerto Rico.

We loved our stay in Puerto Rico and this house was a big part of our enjoyment. It was beautiful, big enough for all 10 of us, and a peaceful place to relax after adventures all day. José was very friendly and responsive and quickly fixed issues. Highly recommend!

Great location and beautiful view of the beach. Unit met our families needs and had nice extras like boogie boards, beach chairs and towels. Instructions provided were clear and helpful. Also, multiple restaurants within walking distance.

The Happy Yellow Beach House had every amenity a vacationer could want, from 2 fully stocked kitchens to all the beach gear and our favorites, a beautiful saltwater pool and bubbling hot tub. It was the perfect paradise for our family of 6. Our kids were content to just hang out at the house the whole stay. The beach behind the house was a great natural setting to explore (one should note it is covered in sea grass) and when we wanted to swim and play in the waves we just walked down the beach a way to clearer spot. Overall, a great place for us to relax together!

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in celebration of my 40th birthday. The view outside the living area and bedroom is overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. This Airbnb was way better than my expectations, and the host (Euniz) always responded within 5-10 minutes of my messaging. Place was clean, comfortable (homey feel), easy to drive to, and had all the amenities we could think or want. It was such a blissful paradise! Restaurants are next door only a 4-5 minute walk at the Margaritaville hotel, but that place was much more crowded too. What we really enjoyed about this condo was that it gave you much more privacy than that part of the resort. This condo had a bunch of families and couples staying here, but it was not crowded as I previously mentioned. We are already in talks of planning our next visit and to stay here in the same condo under Euniz’s management. We’ll bring our 2 and 4 yo. This is a very safe resort for anyone else questioning safety. We highly recommend!

This place was a nice getaway. The neighborhood was safe & it was easy to access the apartment. The airport is literally 6 mins away & it’s not a far drive to other attractions. The roosters in the neighborhood will wake you up around 4 a.m. so I suggest having a white noise throughout the night. Overall a nice, comfortable place to stay with very responsive hosts. Something that is helpful to know is that the hot water is actually turned on by turning the knob to the middle, not all the way to the left where the “H” is. I messaged the host and they were able to help with that. There is a peculiar smell in the bathroom. Either the floor or the rug in the bathroom should be replaced possibly, but the apartment wasn’t bad at all. A nice place for the price you pay or for a short trip. Great hosts ! There were others in the apartments attached to the house, but no one was too loud.

Maria's place was great! Maria was very responsive and kind. The beach, kitchen, and infant amenities were extremely helpful when traveling with a family. It was on a dead-end street of a neighborhood within a 5 minute drive to the beach and about 15 min to the rain forest. There is a grocery store, bakery and gym nearby. Thus, location and host are highly recommended.

We were glad to book this place with Fredy and Suany. Got there at 4 pm, the place was ready on time. Very private, clean, spacious place with breathtaking views of mountains and ocean. The lockboxes are mounted on the parking lot concrete blocks!! There are 2 parking spots for this apartment-and they are not close by!! There is a private beach for the complex that is quiet. Please read the beach conditions for Puerto Rico. Stores close by, also large supermarkets in 7 miles. Don’t forget to get a Pizza takeout from D&D pizza nearby-thin crust (fine crust) with Pepperoni, pineapple and jalapeño :). Check out local bakeries (La Familia) for breakfast fun! Close to both San Juan or tropical forest hiking!!

This place was perfect! The home was very clean, spacious, and had gorgeous views. Omar was very responsive and helpful whenever I reached out. Each bedroom was clean and the AC felt great after hot days in the sun. The pool was nice and the neighbors were friendly. The location on the beach was unbeatable! I would highly recommend staying here if visiting Luquillo.

We had an amazing stay at this ocean view apartment in Puerto Rico! The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the beach, and the views were absolutely stunning. The apartment was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed for a fun and relaxing week, including beach towels, toys, a cooler, and chairs. The property itself has great amenities like a pool, basketball court, and a playground with swings, which was perfect for our kids. Communication with the host was excellent—he responded quickly and was super helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be coming back again!

Playa Azul is right down the street and very relaxing. House was prefect size for our family of 4. It is very close to the rainforest if you plan to visit. I would highly recommend this house as a place to stay. Thank you!

100% would stay at Patty's place again! Immediately we all were struck by the cleanliness and beauty. The patio directly overlooks the ocean and the breeze it creates is stunning. Patty was incredibly responsive and super friendly, with excellent recommendations, you feel her love for Puerto Rico immediately. Everything we needed was there! (boogie boards, beach blankets, bags, shampoo, conditioner, kitchen utensils, coffee maker, and more). Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. We felt very safe walking around, everyone we met was super nice and had a great vibe - same with security guards. Driving from airport was easy (we had been nervous for it, but no need) the couple streets into the condo were very narrow but not busy, so easily manageable. Drive to El Yunque was also much easier than we anticipated - as well as drive to Fajardo for Hacienda Chocolat tour and separately our snorkeling excursion to Icaco Island. Thank you Patty for an amazing week of memories.

We were so happy with this location Traveling with mixed ages can be a challenge but we were all happy in this spot That said, the windows and doors were sometimes difficult to operate I know location next to the ocean makes it hard to keep things rust free I would stay here again Luquillo and surrounding area beautiful beaches Sad to leave

Our stay was comfortable, serene, and truly joyful. The breathtaking views made our getaway even more special. This was exactly what we needed, and it exceeded our expectations. We will definitely recommend this location for a relaxing family retreat. The kids especially loved the pool and golf! Cathy was a fantastic and attentive host from start to finish. She made us feel right at home, ensuring a hassle-free and smooth check-in process. The condo was spotless and well-maintained, adding to our overall enjoyment. We can’t wait to visit again!

In addition to traveling for a family vacation my family & I travelled here to honor my uncle and bring his remains home to our family on the island. Stars place brought us comfort and a home atmosphere that was unbeatable! Any time I reached out to star she responded within minutes. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The property was beautiful and clean as well. There was plenty to do with my family and on my own. I will be booking with star again for my next stay without a doubt.

This apartment was absolutely beautiful. It is in a small town named Loiza about 35 mins from the airport in San Juan. El Verde is a must for the local cuisine. For my bud enthusiasts Puerto Rico only allows us to but edibles and vape cartridges however I found the locals were helpful ifyou talk to the right one😉 most ppl go for the cities but I recommend you venture further out to the caves and the different coasts. It's not a cheap place but there is plenty of free fun if you're an adventure seeker.

Carmens home is just what my family needed. It's beautiful and the Ocean is at your back door. I did not want to leave. The kids enjoyed the pool and volleyball court. My husband and I love the cute home and had everything and more we needed. Private gated safe with security 24 hours and close to the everything you need. We cant wait to stay again at Carmen's place. The place was super clean and not one bug, clean dishes and clean blankets that smell like fresh laundry! Thank you, Carmen, for opening your home to us!

Margaritas was WONDERFUL! simple, precise, clear. The home was so welcoming and actually felt like home and not someplace where you had to dance around on ice. The whole place was a vibe, off the beaten path but still within a shirt drive of TONS of things to do. Felt like more of an adventure setting, if I could give more than 5 stars I would

Absolutely loved my stay! My kiddos had a great time killing energy in the pool and in the river! Although, I do not recommend the river at night, the kids went down for a little bit for spooky story telling! It was so much fun! Even the neighbor was super friendly and we got to buy some of their homemade sorbet! Delicious! Loved the location, house, host, everythinggg 🥰 thank you so much ❤️
