The space
A beautiful apartment above a popular riverside pub. You’ll have a private apartment with large sitting and dining room, fully equipped modern kitchen, three spacious bedrooms with superking size beds (which can be twinned if required) and two bathrooms. Loads of original features plus modern conveniences and a mixture of antique and modern furniture and decor makes this a luxurious home from home in an amazing setting.

Guest access
To access your first floor apartment you’ll come through the pub (briefly crossing a working area) into a fully private three bedroomed apartment which is all yours during your stay.

Other things to note
Our apartment is above a pub which can get very busy (especially in the summer!). Solid floors with plenty of soundproofing mean you won’t hear anything from below but please be aware that the garden and riverside walk can be busy with our customers and walkers. We close by 11pm every night and are not a ‘party’ pub! You’ll see from our 5* reviews that the pub is a positive addition to your stay! We have paddle boarding and a sauna garden on site - contact us to book.

A few steps from Norwich's historic Cathedral and picturesque grounds. On the banks of the river Wensum. Less than ten minutes walk from the centre of Norwich and its shops, theatres, restaurants and cafes. Easy access to the train and bus stations and with a large carpark. We have paddle boarding on site from March to September - take a look at the website for the Red Lion Bishopgate for more details. Our pub is open seven days a week serving brunch, lunch and dinner. It’s best to book so just let us know if you’d like to eat or drink with us and we’ll make sure you have a table.
