A beautifully restored 17th century barn in the grounds of a Grade II Listed Hall in rural East Yorkshire, surrounded by farmland and only two miles from the beach, it's the perfect place to get away from it all and relax.

Ow Do is ideally located as a gateway to some of the best of Yorkshire – with coast, countryside and culture all within easy reach, and less than an hour away.

The space
Ow Do is one of two beautifully converted 17th-century barns set within the grounds of a stunning Grade II listed Hall, just outside the coastal Yorkshire village of Skipsea. Ow Do is less than 2 miles from the sea.

This beautifully converted barn offers a comfortable and quirky place to relax and unwind. Up to two dogs are welcomed free of charge, and the gardens are fully enclosed to keep your furry friends safe.

An Eco-friendly ground source heating system, combined with underfloor heating downstairs keeps you snug during the chillier months.

Welcoming you into the heart of ‘Ow Do is the large open plan living area. At one end there are deep sofas where you can relax and unwind. The kitchen and dining area are opposite, with seating for 8. The modern kitchen offers plenty of storage and contemporary fixtures of high quality. With vaulted ceilings and picture windows, this room offers great views across open countryside.

‘Ow Do has four well-appointed bedrooms which have been furnished with guests comfort in mind. The master bedroom is on the first floor and along the corridor is a twin bedroom which shares the family bathroom. ‘Ow Do has the best of both worlds with the remaining two en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor offering a mix of both twin and double accommodation. All rooms have been furnished with beautiful fabrics, flatscreen TV’s and have lovely views across the open fields of the East Riding.

The enclosed front and rear gardens will entice you to sit and have a drink when the weather is warm. There are many local pubs providing some great Yorkshire fayre and great real ale.

With easy access to the Yorkshire coastline including the towns of Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough; RSPB reserves at Bempton and Flamborough; the cultural hubs of Beverley, York and Hull; and the North York Moors an hour away, Ow Do is just perfect for exploring, and will provide you with a lifetime of memories.

Ow Do forms half of a very large restored barn in the 2.5 acre grounds of the 17thC Hall. Ow Do is fully self contained with 4 large bedrooms, completely enclosed gardens and it's own entrance.

The barns have a separate driveway to the house. The car park is shared with Ey Up, which has it's own separate gardens and entrance.
