Little Hive is our cute, clean and cosy Victorian cottage infused with the magic of Glastonbury. with views of the Tor, Wearyall Hill & the Abbey.
2 bedrooms +loft room with king size bed. (Sleeps 5)
Tucked away just off the high street, the cottage sits on the leyline, between the church, the Goddess Hall, and three historic pubs, While in the heart of the town’s lively atmosphere, it also holds a special energy of retreat, renewal, and inspiration for those called to the lands.
The space
Dining Room: A small, intimate dining room seats 4-5, perfect for cosy meals.
Living Room: A womb-like space facing the church, with a log burner that creates a warm, relaxed atmosphere. You’ll find books, oracle cards, and a hidden-away TV/DVD player with a collection of good old-fashioned DVDs.
Bedroom one
Twin Bedroom: This room features views of the local church and a desk perfect for writing, creating, or journaling, offering a calm and inspired space while the hustle and bustle of the world continue outside the window.
Bedroom two/ split room
Lower room 1x single bed & desk s Loft room / Mezzanine 1x kingsize bed
In the loft room 2. Velux windows with views of the Tor on one side and Wearyall Hill on the other
Snug Room / This is the office space/spare single bed below the loft space, with a very special desk that faces the sacred Glastonbury Tor - get your pens out, it's a serious activation point.
**Please take care on the steps between the bedroom and the mezzanine - this may be an issue for anyone with mobility issues.**
Outdoor Space: There’s a tiny outdoor area where you can catch the morning sun, offering a peaceful moment to begin your day.
Sacred Art: The cottage also features a unique mural on the side of the house -ADAM and EVE- as part of the Glastonbury mural trail, bringing an added layer of local spiritual and creative energy. Inside, there are beautiful, inspiring pieces of art throughout the cottage.
Bathroom & Kitchen: The kitchen is small and quirky but well-equipped, with teas & coffee and everything you need, including a washer dryer.
The bathroom is light and airy. Please note shower only. (The jacuzzi bath is not in use)
The water throughout the cottage is highly purified and mineralised, including the shower.
Guest access
You are welcome to use the Hive as your home, look after the cottage, and it will look after you x
Other things to note
OUTSIDE THE DOOR: Though the cottage offers a sense of quiet and seclusion midweek, please remember that as summer arrives, you are in the heart of the town. Weekends can get lively and the cottage backs onto The Mitre pub garden, which closes at 10:30 pm.
On Saturday nights, you'll hear all sorts, from the kirtans in the church, drum and bass from The King Arthur (kick out is 1am) you’ll hear chatting in The Mitre garden and You'll hear a loud roar when there is a win in the rugby from the sports lovers in The Market House!
On Sunday mornings, you will hear the church bells and sometimes singing of the Goddess Temple or the chatter of the witches & wizards!
There are weekly carnivals, festivals and parades are on Sometimes the ‘drum and bass bus’ comes to town, and, the whole town hears it
Glastonbury is far from a quiet little town; it's crazy, wild, and wonderful. you’ll see all sorts - from Merlins to Jesuses, from incarnations of Isis to the Goddess of the Magdalene ! .
The term "Normal for Glastonbury" and "GMT = Glastonbury Maybe Time" is an insight into the carefree and creative culture of the town.
Little Hive sits right on these energy lines and was created so you can be part of it all the sacred and the wild for you to go out and mingle and then return to the heart of the Hive, integrate it all with a cup of tea by the fire.
