Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Mourne Tide Cottage provides the perfect setting to explore the Mourne Mountains, Newcastle, Tollymore Forest, Murlough Nature Reserve and so much more in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The property, a certified Tourist Establishment, is on an elevated site overlooking Newcastle Harbour with panoramic views of Dundrum Bay and a one minute walk to the Granite Trail and direct access to the Mourne Mountains.

The space
The property has recently been refurbished to a high standard and consists of: 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom two single beds, bed linen, towels, flat-screen TV, Wi-fi, a dining area, fully equipped kitchen, non-smoking, pet-friendly and has free on-street parking.

Newcastle is a pleasant 15 minute walk with an abundance of excellent restaurants and cafes to choose from. If you prefer to stay closer to home there are three great places to eat and drink only a 5 minute walk away.

There is a patio at the front of the property to enjoy the uninterrupted sea view and a small enclosed back yard.

The back garden is not accessible for guests at this time.

Self Service Check-In with key lock located at the front door. Access code provided on the day of arrival. Where possible I am happy to meet guests at check in if required.

Other things to note
There are some steps to access property so unfortunately not suitable for anyone with a wheelchair or restricted mobility.

The front garden is on an elevated position so it is essential that young children are not left unattended at any time.

Parking is on the road outside the property.

If visiting with pets please DO NOT let them sit on furniture or beds in consideration of future guests.
