A spacious, elegant three-bedroom villa with a large garden and private parking.
Located in a quiet, residential area just 3km/a ten minute drive from the historic centre of Florence. An ideal holiday house for a family with children or a group of friends. The ground floor offers ample living space, dining room and kitchen whilst the bedrooms / bathrooms are on the first floor. The city is easily accessible by public transport, and Chianti is a short drive. Additional services on request.

The space
Built in the 1970, the villa has been architecturally designed to blend elegance with comfort – you’ll find everything you might need, from a fully equipped kitchen to wi-fi, air conditioning, plenty of natural light and a stunning 1.5 acre garden.

The ground floor comprises a spacious living area with separate dining and sitting rooms overlooking the garden as well as an airy cloakroom and a cosy TV room. There is also a separate kitchen which leads onto a breezy veranda with an al fresco dining and sitting area; perfect for those hot summer evenings!

The first floor consists of three double bedrooms, one of which has a queen-size sofa-bed and a desk, and can double act as an office should you need some quiet work space. The other two rooms have king sized beds; one comprises two adjustable matresses. In addition, there are two large family bathrooms both appointed with a bath and a shower.

The place is kept spotless clean with fresh linen, towels and basic necessities.

The beautiful and spacious garden also comprises an outdoor cooking area which you are welcome to use - but it is a quite tired, and due to be renovated.

The villa was built in the 1970s and has been well looked after since. However, please note some of the fittings and decor are dated: this is reflected in the price.

There is a basement flat is the residence of our discrete housekeepers who are there to assist guests. They have a separate entrance, but there is also an internal interconnecting door.

The villa is arranged over three floors, of which the ground and first floor are exclusively reserved to guests who have full use of the veranda, garden and amenities.

The housekeepers are available upon request for flexible check-in and check-outs. They can also provide daily cleaning, cooking and babysitting services charged at €20/h.

The housekeepers will need to access to the garden in mornings and evenings to water the plants.

Other things to note
The villa is conveniently located in the quiet neighbourhood of Due Strade, within a five-minute walk from the local shops (e.g. a newsagent, deli, pharmacy, bars and cafes) and buses to town.

Florence city centre is 3km away, while the villa also provides an ideal jumping off point to explore beautiful locations in Tuscany: Chianti is less than 30 minutes away by car, and you can reach both Siena and San Gimignano in under an hour.

I am italian and I live in London with my english husband and 2 children. I am a dermatologist and I have a clinic in London and in Florence, this allows me to live in both cities and enjoy the best of both worlds. I have spent all my summer holidays in Forte dei marmi since I was a child and still it is still one of my favorite places. I recently decided to rent my house in Forte dei Marmi because I don't send much time there and I think it is the perfect place to spend a long weekend in summer or winter. I have been renting houses through Airbnb for several years and always had an excellent experience. i hope my guests will think the same.
