Holiday rentals in Halifax

My family had a great stay here. Alan’s place is exactly as described and even better! All amenities are great, the place is very cozy and clean. They even had a Christmas tree set up which was a great touch! We did a trip into Chester and Bayswater beach which ware both nearby. Would 100% recommend to those looking and would go back in a heartbeat!

Most of what I'm saying is echoing what other Guests have said - it's all still true for 2024: Morry is great to work with, cottage is clean and well-equipped,  the views here are wonderful, beds are comfy and the layout worked well for us with the two main floor bedrooms on opposite sides.  The kitchen is a good size and the two full bathrooms are like new. There's a great hike trailhead a stone's throw away and, if you haven't already, you will fall in love with Prospect, NS!!

Absolutely loved our 12 nights stay at this stunning Airbnb in Halifax! We came as a group of 10 for my brother’s wedding and the house was beyond perfect. The place is massive, clean, elegant, and super private—ideal for a big family gathering. The ground floor living area became our favorite hangout spot, giving us unforgettable family moments. With 5 spacious bedrooms and a driveway that easily fit over 10 cars, we never felt crowded even when we hosted a dinner with friends. The host was outstanding—very responsive and helpful. We had a minor issue with a shower, and they quickly sent over a video to guide us through, which was incredibly thoughtful. Also, when we reported a small accidental damage, the host graciously waived it. That kind of support is rare. Advice for future guests: If you're planning a trip with family or friends, this is hands-down the best place to stay in Halifax. The views exceeded our expectations and the host was very responsive. It was a very cozy home close to local amenities and that had everything we needed. A great space for a group.

This is a special place! We were extremely lucky with the weather and got a super sunny day (pretty rare for mid April). Beautiful scenery, the sun glinting on the water, the surrounding islands, the vegetation starting to wake up for spring! Highlights - exploring the trails on the island, enjoying the hot tub, watching the geese, plus the host was extremely friendly and responsive. Also really nice that there’s the option for a one night stay. My suggestions for improvements or for people booking a stay here - bring a bathrobe and slipper or sandals, I guess this wouldn’t be an issue in the summer but currently as it’s still pretty cold out - emerging from the hot tub into the April air and getting to the house was like doing a cold plunge lol. Also recommend bringing lots of layers, it is pretty windy and chilly at night. Overall great stay though, in the summer it would be awesome to swim off the dock, use the fire pit and lounge out on the rocks. Very cool place!

Lovely area. Quiet and peaceful . Nice country getaway. Rental had everything you could ever need. Even had a bbq. Had a fire pit to sit around in evenings.

My friends and I absolutely adored Shannon’s place. It is the perfect balance of cozy and airy with tons of natural lighting and cute decor, she had everything there we could need and then some extra treats. The hot tub was a hit for morning and evening dips with a beautiful view over the water. Shannon is a super friendly and responsive host, my birthday weekend went smoothly but it was comforting to know she was there should anything come up! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking :)
