We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was homely with everything you need. The Lord Nelson pub was just perfect with some very friendly locals and a great pint! Ingrid and Ric were thoughtful hosts who provided us with useful local information and a pint of milk to make a cup of tea at the end of a long journey! A lovely village and an amazing cottage.

The house was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. We had a fantastic stay, it's very close to a large park where we had lovely sunny walks. The location was perfect for us as it's very close to where my sister lives and also lots of shops and a great cafe (Mediterranean Cafe) very close. Heather was really helpful and responsive and had all we needed to stay very comfortably with our 7 month old baby. We would come back here in a heartbeat as it was such a great experience. Cozy terrace house, beautifully decorated, we felt right at home. Good soundproofing between bedrooms and didn’t hear the neighbours so nice and quiet. Note that the staircases are extremely steep up to the 1st floor (master bedroom and single bedroom) as well as spacious bedroom on the second floor. One bathroom with lots of hot water and a great bath and shower. Enclosed garden for our dog was great, thanks for the dog welcome bowls and treats ! Parking was on the street right outside.

This is our favourite place to stay when we visit Halifax, especially when we want to bring our two dogs. It's only a few minutes' drive from the Piece Hall, Shibden Hall, the Bankfield Museum and other places we like to visit, but it is quiet and feels like countryside. Fields are on two sides, with deer and foxes that sometimes pose for us in early morning or at dusk. It's always clean. Everything we need is right there. We especially love have enough of a freezer to bring a week's worth of our dogs' favourite food. In the Halifax area we really don't want to stay anywhere else.

A beautiful farmhouse with abundant space in wonderful surroundings. it was perfect for a gathering of 12 friends over the weekend, with space enough for communal eating and socialising but also separate spaces so people weren't on top of each other all the time. Easy instructions for check in and check out, nothing complicated or onerous to deal with. Sarah was friendly and communicative. There are many local amenities but equally plenty of entertainment at the house in the form of books, games, and TV. Thank you!

Wow, we loved our stay at Michael’s place and he really is a super host. Couldn’t fault his service in any way. The house itself was perfect for our group, left clean and comfortable by his lovely cleaner (Mum!). Michael was also super responsive and receptive to our needs and really friendly guy. The location itself was perfect to our needs, tucked away but still local and central. Thanks Michael, we will definitely return!

I would definitely revisit Jess’s place again. The location is conveniently situated just outside the bustling center, with several bus stops nearby that make it easy to reach the Trafford Center for shopping, as well as visit the iconic Manchester Football Stadium. I had a fantastic time relaxing in the evening by the cozy fire, which created the perfect atmosphere for our mini date night in the flat. The space was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to unwind and enjoy each other's company without distraction. Additionally, there are plenty of local shops and charming urban cafes within walking distance, making it a great spot for grabbing a coffee or exploring unique finds. Overall, the combination of comfort, accessibility, and a vibrant neighborhood makes it a wonderful place to stay.

We had the best time at Teal cottage with 6 friends. The walk into holmfirth is only ten minutes, and there’s loads of coffee shops, a few nice restaurants and pubs, as well as charity shops, walks and runs nearby. We spent a day at the yorkshire sculpture park which was fun too. But mostly we just enjoyed spending time in the house! Cooking facilities, hot tub, TV and games were perfect and we had a fab, very relaxing post exams celebration. If anything it was better than the photos! Like people say in other reviews, the deposit was initially off putting but when Angela explained I felt comfortable with it. The drive is steep but work on your clutch control and you’ll be fine!! Overall absolutely spot on for 6 people for a few days away, with room for extras if we come back in future! Thank you

Had such a wonderful stay at this location. The amenities were amazing, particularly loved the farm produce and onsite pool! The hosts were always responsive and keen to help. The place was spotless and well stocked! Would love to stay again!

A charming cottage, very close to all the local amenities in the lovely town of Holmfirth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Everything you could possible need was provided, ensuring a relaxing and comfortable stay, also included was a welcoming pack which included all the basic essentials you might need on arrival and a few extras treats as well, all very much appreciated. There was excellent communication and support from Angela the host and the supporting team throughout. l hope to stay there again on a future trip.

Had a great 2 night stay here. The Lodge was lovely, had everything you need. Had a secure outdoor area with a hot tub, so the dog could roam freely. The Park itself was very quiet and private, seen Stags and Peacocks each day. Would definitely reccomend and would stay here again!

We had a lovely long weekend here. Perfect for the 2 of us and our dog. Great location - right next to the canal which was a lovely 10 minute walk into the town. Parking on the drive. Really spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Lovely and warm. Comfortable double bed. Very quiet. Good value. Would definitely recommend.

Lisa was very proactive with communications and even provided milk as we couldn’t get any on route. Beautiful surroundings albeit maybe a little remote for some. Worked well for us as we chose this and only 10 mins to Middlewood Tram P & R

The cottage was perfect for our stay in Haworth. We walked everywhere and didn’t need the car at all. The garden was a little sun trap which was a bonus at the end of the day and very peaceful and quiet. The cottage has a cosy feel and everything we needed was provided including little extras like tin foil, a few spices and a welcome pint of milk! Local shops are very well stocked but there are plenty of walkable restaurants on Main Street. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

Our stay was lovely. Property was beautiful perfect location for our plans and the communication before and after was great. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Me and my partner stayed for three nights for a little birthday get away. We had an amazing time, the hut was immaculate and felt so homely. There were many restaurants and cafes in the area and the scenery was beautiful. We had an amazing view of the horses in the field aswell! We would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of a nice, peaceful getaway but also somewhere that you can explore aswell. Thankyou so much Nic!
