Family-friendly holiday rentals in Hamilton County

This was our second stay at Camp Matty. It was even better the second time around. It feels like home. Everything is so clean. The amenities were perfect for us. Christopher is very attentive and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. Another great trip! Thanks Christopher!

Leslie's North River Hobby Farm has an incredible charm, from the energy of the land to the craftsmanship and architecture of the buildings. We were only there for one day but the short stay was perfect to finish off our camping trip. Our glamping tent had a heater in it to take the edge off the cold nights, and we really enjoyed using the custom hot tub. Everything was kept clean, including the kitchenette and bathhouse spaces. The Farm had a nice communal vibe and we got to connect and meet some of the other guests staying there. All in all, I hope we can come back here again and stay for longer to enjoy more of the surrounding lands and offerings.

My husband and I had such an amazing stay! We took advantages of as many things as we could in the area while we were there and loved our little home away from home (Glamp Thomas.) This was the first of many times glamping for us! Thank you to our wonderful hosts. We will be back with our family.

The Farmstand is rich with character, creativity and family history. As soon as you step in, you feel at home. It was amazing to have my morning coffee, with the sun coming through the kitchen windows after a good ole Adirondack snow storm. Stunning and relaxing.

This was our second time at Leslie's glamping tent. The first time a year ago was a chance stop en route to our ultimate destination. The kids and adults liked it so much, that this second time, it was the destination. We loved the peaceful grounds, the comfortable glamping tent (with heat and electricity), and the well stocked kitchen. Our kids loved pizza night and the chickens running around the property. But, most of all, we appreciated Leslie's human touch -- letting our kids pick fruit and veggies on the grounds, giving them a ride on the golf card, and chatting about the area. We hope to come back again.

Such a peaceful little cabin, the spa Leslie built is a necessity for the stay.

Beautiful area and felt very welcomed. The wood fire pizza was great. The pictures dont do justice for this place. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

I loved staying in the Hemlock cabin! Cute kitchen with all that was needed, great porch, great views--wonderful hosts. Would stay there again for sure.

This cabin in the woods is a wonderful base for exploration of the Adirondacks. If you love the outdoors, I highly recommend this airbnb as there is plenty of wild to explore within an hour drive in all directions. The house is cozy with everything you would need to live there. Myself and 9 of my friends fit in this house and we had a wonderful weekend in the adks.

We had a great time ! Lots of space and hangout areas. This is a tiny town . Fortunately we had everything we needed thanks to James! There was a little beach my teens enjoyed . This is the type of place to unwind , unplug and relax !! Thanks James !!

Had an excellent long weekend at a truly beautiful spot, with a comfortable cabin to stay in. Lots of available boats, more available than I'd realized! And there's plentiful nearby hiking. The only surprise was that the cabin was in a large group of cabins, some quite close, so there was a certain amount of unexpected noise, and perhaps a little less privacy then there might have been. This didn't detract from the time there, but some might like to know ahead of time.

I would strongly recommend Patti's place to anyone that is interested in experiencing off-grid living. I wanted a quite place in the Adirondack's, and it is definitely that. Patti told me she built the house herself with her then husband 25 years ago. This place has more character than any place I have stayed on AirBNB. The electric is 100% off grid coming from solar panels on the roof. The water is the kind of clean crispness that can only come from a well. There is a tank that holds 50 gallons, but no civil water or electric from the grid. The place is so quite. I think a neighbor told me all the lots are 15 acres. In any case, I never heard any sounds coming from nearby neighbors. It is also right on a network of trails and my dog and I loved touring those each morning. Patti also has a garden and offered that I take anything I wanted. I cannot say enough about this place. It is truly a special place.

Our family had a great long weekend stay here. The property was private and quiet, however just a short drive to basic amenities and great shops and attractions. The directions were clear, and we found it easy to navigate during our stay. The house was spacious, but very cozy, we felt like we were staying at a family home. Access to the water, with a nice dock and sitting area for fishing and a fire. We had a wonderful stay!

Really comfortable get-away in the mountains. The river is so beautiful you can enjoy the extraordinary from the closed in porch or open deck. Every time of day it’s fascinating. The boat launch and public beach at Algonquin Lake is nearby. The house is really clean and (unbelievable) air conditioned that makes humid summer sleeping pleasant. The kitchen is modern so you can really cook nice meals. The extra bathroom is convenient for families. Lots of hiking and water sports and ice cream stands are nearby. We had a lovely visit and will return to the area in the future!

This is my third time stayed at Erik’s place. We have a group of guys that like hiking and snowshoeing in the area. The large communal table is great to sit around and share a meal.

Awesome place. Just what I was looking for. Fall foliage and several hikes and drives in the area were beautiful. A couple of great local restaurants and a coffee house with pastries. Matthew and Michael were very responsive to my many questions. They were great to work with. Prefect place for my week get away. Satellite TV was a plus to watch NFL and baseball playoffs. Very relaxing and cozy with a private location close to restaurants and local grocery store. Stocked with everything you need. I would definitely recommend this wonderful Adirondack Chalet and hope to return.

Wonderful cottage - very cute with a great amount of space. We had five folks in the cabin and had enough space for all of us. Really nice porch for morning coffee. Linda and her husband were extremely accommodating and great hosts. Temperature inside was great and we felt safe and cozy the entire time. Beds were comfortable and they had lots of kitchen appliances for us to cook. Didn't get to use the firepit but it was a quaint area. Bring toiletries and groceries, otherwise, everything else was available!

We always love being hosted by Palmer Point! Cindy is friendly and super responsive. The beds and couches are super comfortable and the kitchen comes with everything you need. The space was the right size to contain our toddler so we could do things but still keep an eye on her. The location is great and it's easy in and easy out, and the surrounding woods keep the Study pretty cool during the day.

Cindy was very friendly and even had cookies waiting for us! We would definitely book again when in the area!

Daniel's rental is great. Wonderful scenery and very peaceful. The house was just as described, maybe actually bigger than it appeared. Daniel was very easy to deal with and gave very clear instructions. We would like to go back in the future.
