We found the house very nice,it is nicely decorated. In the kitchen is everything you need. The landlord is very nice. We can only recommend 😊

Our ideal winter holiday has become a reality. What a gift that it was exactly during our stay in winter. A wonderful stay at Torfhaus with our 2 children. Beautiful surroundings, wonderfully complete luxury cottage. Enjoyed the wood stove and sauna (nice to cool off in the snow). Nice food in the restaurants. Great price/quality. Very friendly people at the reception and good services (order sandwiches, can buy extra wood, borrow sled). The only downside as far as we are concerned is that the mattresses were too hard for us and the bed consisted of 2 single beds and duvets. We can't get used to that and are happy to be home in terms of beds. But otherwise enjoyed it! Thank you!

Super located house half for hiking trips and a weekend in nature! The sauna is an absolute highlight

Beautiful, cozy retreat after strenuous hikes. Particularly beautiful was the lovingly landscaped garden, which is equipped with several places to stay. The house does not leave any wishes open including great views of the valley.

Top accommodation with fireplace and sauna. Very cozy, especially in autumn/winter. Friendly staff and close to Brocken.

We felt very comfortable at the place. Check-in and departure were straightforward. The place was very nicely prepared and corresponded to the descriptions. Additional activities (e.g. payment of the tourist tax) were very well prepared. The place was ideal for staying with young children. There would have been a high chair and an extra bed on request. Various games, puzzles and painting utensils were provided. We fully recommend the place.

We felt very comfortable here. Everything is available in the house and the location of the house was a perfect starting point for hiking in the area (e.g. on the Brocken).

The space was as expected. Unfortunately, the pool table was a little heavily used (a ball bag broken, a cue as well, but playable). So four stars. Friendly host, always approachable.

We personally spent 2 nights in the lodge. We were 9 adults and 8 children. The children were always busy. There is a game room for them. There is also a sauna for adults a good pastime in the evenings. The funicular to Mount Wumberg is close by. We are all very happy! Had a great stay

The place is very comfortable and clean, bright and friendly furnished. Everything you need is there. Special highlights are the fireplace and the game room with equipment for all ages (toy riding horse for small and foosball/darts for big). The Sauerzapf family sent all the necessary information before we even got to ask. The communication was fast, warm and uncomplicated. Many thanks for this!

Some colleagues slept at Angelina’s during a work trip. They were well welcomed and enjoyed their stay there.

Basically, we were very satisfied. In total, I would like to give 4.9/5 stars for this. There are two things I find worth mentioning for future vacationers. 1. We stayed at the place in the summer and there were an incredible number of wasps there. With the balcony door open, it didn't take a minute for the first wasp in the living room. We were often only a short time in the garden because it was unbearable due to the wasps. 2. First of all, it is important to say that you are basically already relatively isolated. But what is not visible in the pictures, you are directly on the "main street" of Misery and half of the garden can be seen from the neighboring parking lot. At least in the summer the parking lot is quite weakly frequented, so no big deal. If you imagine a remote forest house from the pictures, you are wrong and should look at Google Maps beforehand.

Very great hosts, even with bread service. In the sauna and in the swimming pool you could relax wonderfully. The house was very clean
