Biji's place was one of the best experiences I have had in my life, and I think the others in our group of 7 would agree. You must stay here: the place is literally on the Kallada river, a boat can come pick you up from the house and take you on a mangrove tour, and you can even swim just by getting down a few steps. The setting is unbeatable. The house itself seemed all brand new, modern, very comfortable. Even the roof was beautiful, but my favourite feature was the ample 2 porch areas with fans, we basically sat outside the entire time to enjoy the views. Clean, gorgeous, and serene, this place is a must-stay. A lovely lady cooked delicious meals for us for a small extra charge, making the stay even better. Biji's hospitality went beyond all this, he even managed to find a gluten-free cake for our friend's birthday, in addition to helping us arrange cabs and boat ride. Many thanks for this unforgettable stay, Biji. We truly felt we were in God's Own Country.

Solid Stay at Marari Coral Homestay Stayed at Marari Coral Homestay during a family trip to Mararikulam, and it turned out to be a great call. The place had a calm, beachy vibe that matched the natural beauty of the area perfectly. It felt comfortable and laid-back, just what we needed. Location-wise, it’s spot on. Easy to find and close to all the top spots around Mararikulam. The homestay was clean, well-maintained, and had a simple charm to it. Big shoutout to Mr. Vilas, the owner; genuine man with a helpful attitude. He made sure we were settled in and guided us around without any fuss. His approach added a nice personal touch to the stay. All in all, it was a smooth and satisfying experience. If you’re heading to Mararikulam and want a place that’s clean, convenient, and close to the beach, Marari Coral Homestay is a solid pick. Would definitely recommend.

Peaceful stay.. perfect way for me to welcome 2025! Its a beautiful 2 bedroom space with a coomon room n spacious verandah towards the backside of the home. There is also backwaters behind the house which makes for perfect early mornings n evenings. The best time i spent was early mornings by the backwaters - could see flock of ducks pass by, locals taking boats going to their destinations, and the beautiful sunrise hitting the waters - just gorgeous! Jeffin was amazing - very responsive, helpful, and the complimentary breakfast provided was yummy Kerala style. Thank you for all the help during the stay. If you are looking for a serene place with calming vibes and gorgeous tropical climate then please book a stay.

We stayed at Thira Marari for two days and had a wonderful experience. The hosts were amazing—friendly, welcoming, and provided us with local recommendations. The caretaker Jomon was always around to help and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The complimentary home-cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious. The property was well-planned and thoughtfully designed, with all necessary amenities and beautifully maintained garden spaces. The views were breathtaking, with the beach visible from the lawn and the constant sound of waves in the background. The viewing deck was a great bonus, where we spent our evenings watching magnificent sunsets. It's rare to find a stay that blends comfort, beauty and genuine care so effortlessly. I wasn’t prepared for how much I enjoyed staying at Samjana’s place. She’s an architect and designed the whole building herself. From the polished brick floors feeling delightful on my bare feet to the open balconies and kitchen, to waking up with an incredible view of the jungle birds and animals, we loved the balance between modern design and natural beauty. With Samjana’s internet booster, I was also able to work comfortably there. And we found delicious restaurants and friendly fruit & veg vendors at the junction within walking distance. We’re grateful for Samjana creating this place and sharing it with us. 🙏🏼

My family and I had the wonderful opportunity to stay at Genesis during the Christmas break, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The property is exceptionally spacious, with a clean, clutter-free design that made it feel incredibly welcoming and relaxing. The open layout allowed us to move around freely, and the large windows let in plenty of natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. Our kids particularly loved the generous size of the rooms, giving them plenty of space to play and unwind. The beds were comfortable, and the modern amenities throughout the property ensured a cozy and convenient stay. We also appreciated how well-maintained everything was, from the fully equipped kitchen to the beautifully kept bathrooms. The location was ideal for a family getaway, offering both tranquility and easy access to nearby attractions. The home is exactly opposite Samasthi retreat center near the bank of Pamba river. It's a private and peaceful place with ample space in living area. The balcony and the compund area is large enough to accommodate bunch of people. I had booked the home for my wedding. The sitting room and living room space was more than enough to accommodate the priests and other guests who came in morning. Overall, I thank Jiji and his sister in law for their excellent hospitality and clear instructions during the stay.
