Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Harrisonburg

Tori and Jacob were wonderful! Very responsive, clear, and straight forward. The home was perfectly located, clean, and welcoming. I would highly recommend.

Seth and Carla were extremely responsive during our stay! We loved how many beds this house had and we were able to all spend time together while comfortably being seated around tables/living rooms! We wish the fire pit had seating or that fireplaces worked, but we loved this property and its proximity to wineries and ski resorts!

It was perfect for a couples weekend and close the wineries! The recommendations were spot on for food! The best part was probably the hot tub-something to spend the evenings relaxing instead of just watching tv.

The setting of the home was breathtaking!!! The mountain was beautiful and the open patio was perfect to see the moon and stars at night! We were thinking there was too little light on the patio when we arrived but we know now it’s intentional. The home was spacious and had everything we could have needed. Hot tub was amazing and we can’t wait to return to Lost City!!

We are a group of 6 hikers (3 couples) so we come to Shenandoah National Park frequently. We have been at a number of houses in the area and this one is our favorite. Beautiful spacious home, well equipped with everything. We loved the back area- the firepit and the hot tub was at a perfect temperature. The beds were comfortable, the house was spotless. We walked into Luray each day and had a glass of wine at Cork and had some beer at Hawksbill Brewery. Just a lovely stay. And Chasidy was very responsive and helpful. We will absolutely be back!

Joi hosted us in a beautiful spacious private home. We loved spending time outdoors, where there was a hot tub and a pickleball court! The garage was another place we spent most of our time. There was plenty beds for our group and the bed room at the very top of the house is a neat lookout. We walked to the winery nearby and the drinks, the food, and customer service was fantastic. We would book with Joi again in the future.

I would recommend to anyone need to get away for a quiet, peaceful retreat. The cabin was clean and welcoming. Checking in was easy. The hot tub was a lovely edition that I very much enjoyed!! We very much enjoyed our time and can't wait to go back!

Stephen and Yunus have carefully curated this beautiful cabin, not a single detail goes unnoticed. Gorgeous sweeping mountain views outside are complemented by warm and cozy decor inside, with any amenity you might need. Comfy beds, a well-appointed kitchen, and a great hot tub made this the perfect place for us to unwind after long ski days.

We enjoyed staying at Kirsten's and Chris's. The place was easy to find, super clean, and very comfortable. Kirsten and Chris responded within minutes whenever we communicated with them. We had to leave a day early due to a snowstorm, so they refunded us for most of the second night of our booking. Wonderful experience!

We’re an outdoorsy family and we all loved our stay in Glenn’s home, right by the water with easy to launch area for the kayaks, no light pollution at night to watch a blanket of stars in the sky. Our fur baby loved it just as much and took a liking to Glenn. Thank you and hope to be back this summer!!!

Jen’s place is perfect for an escape from the public, while close enough to Shenandoah and Charlottesville and Culpeper for adventures. She was extremely attentive and responsive, making us feel welcome from the start. Would recommend to anyone.

We loved our Christmas holiday stay. It was so easy to come and go and not trouble Bianca and her husband, due to the well lighted, private entrance. Like all other reviewers, we were so very pleased with the extra touches she provided: croissants, wine, snacks, breakfast foods of cereal/oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit. There were helpful signs throughout to let us know exactly how the facility should be treated. The furnniture was comfortable and the kitchen just right for our needs. I was appreciative of the nice hot water for shower and great water pressure. So relaxing. Most of all was Bianca herself, always offering to help (she even helped me load luggage into my car at the end of our stay). A very gracious and giving host. We recommend this accommodation for anyone desiring a comfortable suite and extra T.L.C.

Jill's place was very convenient for our son & his family on a recent visit. The kids enjoyed seeing the goats. Would definitely rent again in the future.

Cat’s place was perfect for a weekend escape! The view was gorgeous! I loved sitting on the patio and reading while listening to the creek in the backyard. My dog loved getting to run around and explore! Definitely can’t wait to come back!

This was my second extended stay and it was twice as nice! I felt right at home. Carrie is a great host, proactive and responsive with communication. It snowed during my stay, and she was very conscientious about making sure I was able to come and go as needed--though I was happy to stay indoors and cozy :) 10/10 recommend!

Peaceful and quiet.

Awesome place!

Spent the long weekend to celebrate some birthdays! Great space for all ages (kids through 70s) with plenty of room to spread out. We loved the seating options in the living room and enjoyed movies on the projector. The beds were probably the most comfortable of anywhere we have stayed (for real!), and we loved the Nespresso machine for our morning pick me up. The location itself is beautiful with a view of the creek and fire pit area from the family room. Really nice to have the hot tub option to relax. Everything the cabin has been furnished in felt very high end - truly a getaway! Plenty of good restaurant options within 10-15 mins. We did tubing at Massanutten (15 min drive) and the caverns at Luray (30 min drive). Sher was extremely responsive, and we plan to visit again in the summer months when there will be a whole new set of activities to enjoy!

We had an excellent time at the Pond View yurt! The property was very well maintained with a spectacular view, clean and modern amenities (hot water + bath tub), and a fully equipped kitchen. We had no trouble entering the private building, and were impressed by the clean lines of the rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms. In the morning we made a camp fire with freshly ground coffee overlooking the mist shrouded mountain. Douglas provided clear and concise instructions and was very responsive and proactive. We are already making plans for our next visit - this time with another couple. One of the best places we’ve found - 10/10!

Booked Kayla's place for a solo trip to unwind and relax. I didn't venture out to explore the surroundings at all, but instead enjoyed being cozy on the couch and relaxing in the hot tub. The place was pristinely clean, the furniture was stylish and comfortable, and the place felt very homey. It was nice that she provides coffee and shampoo and conditioner, particularly because I forgot to pack all of those things. Though the cabin is pretty private, there are two houses visible from the cabin (including one from the back porch / deck / firepit) which made it feel a little less private, particularly since there are no window coverings on those beautiful multi-story windows facing the back. Also note that the main bedroom is a loft, so there is no door (not a problem for me since I was solo). Overall, a very comfortable stay in a charming and cozy cabin, and Kayla was very communicative. I will definitely visit again and next time explore the surrounding area.

We really enjoyed the cozy cottage. The surrandings were beautiful. The hot tub was a great addition. Nice size and very clean. The cottage is a great place for a family get away. I will return. Thankyou so much for wverything.

This retreat is the getaway location you need. The cabin is beautifully appointed with perfect little touches throughout. From the electric kettle for tea to the indoor fireplace it was perfectly cozy. Sitting in the hot tub we even had some deer friends come and say hello. Agree with the other reviews that a 4WD/AWD is needed, but Elizabeth makes this very clear and is very prompt with communications. Looking forward to coming back again.

We stayed only one night, but the drive through Shenandoah was beautiful arriving to the cabin. The house was as advertised, easy to navigate, and cozy. The convenience to trails, while also feeling cozy and secluded was great. We would recommend staying here!
