Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Hartford County

We had a great stay! Tina was super responsive and accommodating as we were dealing with a snow and ice storm during our stay. The house was clean, spacious, and exactly as pictured. We would definitely come back!

This was a great location for our family of 7. There were enough beds, good amenities, and it was a great location to get down to the Connecticut River. It was centrally located and we were able to explore many cities in CT due to the location. The hosts were extremely responsive and the home was well-maintained.

Jason was responsive and checked in on us by email making sure we were enjoying or if we needed anything. Beautiful, clean and cozy home. The frozen lake was beautiful and we took advantage of the firepit and jacuzzi outside. The driveway was shoveled early on the morning of our departure and batteries were delivered 10 minutes after our request for the TV remote. We had a wonderful getaway.

I love this place. This was my second stay at the property, after having first stayed back in September - 'nuff said!

The home exceeded our expectations! We had a long drive from (Pennsylvania to Massachusetts) and were able to find the home and make a nice dinner soon after arrival. The beds were comfortable and we slept well, making our next day so much more pleasant. The location is quiet and private, and the home itself is beautiful. I would love to stay there again when we make another journey in the future. Martin was always helpful and available.

We had a great time saying here with some friends for New Years. David is super friendly and responsive and even went out of his way to get a high chair for us. The house itself is well laid out and has amazing views of the reservoir, and a real working fireplace. Nice local hiking as well. Property is managed by the owner and not one of those cheap corporate managed airbnbs which is always a huge plus. Thank you for a great time!

Drene was very attentive, excellent communication. She made our stay very comfortable. Her place is very comfortable. I would definitely book another stay there when I return to Connecticut.

Great communicative host.....beautiful home and property; cool to explore. Eating at the dinner table surrounded by trees was precious. Areas were spacious and very comfortable. All the needed amenities were available, like shampoo, soap, basic seasonings, pots, pans, even coffee. Heater and hot water worked perfectly. Amanda was available and it was very easy communicating with her via Airbnb messages. Hope to come back, maybe at summertime to enjoy the "green" view during that season. Jane was a helpful and responsive host, the apartment was beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped (and things were labeled for finding easily), the location was great for what we needed, and the cats were the absolute sweetest. Our family of 5 was comfortable and felt safe and right at home even during severe weather (super hot in the 90s and severe thunderstorms). Our kids didn’t want to leave! We had a wonderful stay in Katelin’s apartment - we stayed there for 3 months with our newborn. One of the best Airbnb experience we ever had. The place is beautiful, decorated with taste, really well equipped, full of light. It’s really close to the center of west Hartford and all the best restaurants. Katelin is super kind and helpful. We felt so much at home we did not want to leave. We will definitely be back there when we are back in the area. Thanks again Katelin!
