Wonderful place, we enjoyed ourselves and grateful for the flexibility with our additional requests! We were able to enjoy a family braai under complimentary great shelter provided!

We didn’t end up staying overnight because our flight was changed, but the room and the guest house were both charming and pleasantly quirky. We’d book to stay again if we find ourselves back in Johannesburg

I really enjoyed my stay at Sam’s place. The location is great - it’s in a nice area of the city, close to many restaurants, etc. Sam was very kind and provided great recommendations. The house itself is beautiful and the room was clean and had everything I needed.

Amazing stay at the guest house. Very high standard and all amenities were clean and readily available. I only had a short stay but the bed and pillows were great. Breakfast was delicious and lots of options too. Thank you for everything.

Annamarie made me and my yorkies feel welcome. My brother was hosptalised for chemo treatment and she went the proverbial extra mile - like lending us a small coffee plunger for him to use in hospital. Beautiful garden and lovely neigbourhood. I will be back…

The dining area was elegant, and having breakfast included was such a treat. I also loved the option to order snacks and beverages, billed conveniently later—plus, the fresh mangoes were delightful! The thoughtful touches, like a gown and slippers waiting for me, made the experience feel luxurious. The interior is truly 5-star, blending comfort with style. The host was incredibly attentive and always available to assist, which added a personal and welcoming touch. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect blend of luxury and hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning!

My stay at Nicki's guest house felt like a true wellbeing retreat. From the moment I arrived the tranquil environment—with a beautifully maintained garden, swimming pool, and fish pond—helped me unwind. Nicki was an exceptional host, supported by her long-standing staff, who ensured everything was perfect. I was pleased to receive a room upgrade, complimentary free weekly laundry, and weekday cleaning services. Mornings were therapeutic: I’d start my day bird-watching in the garden with a cup of coffee, admire the fish in the pond, take a leisurely walk around the lush & safe suburb, enjoy a swim, and relax sunbathing—all before officially starting my day/tour. The property is well-maintained, making it ideal for long stays, short breaks, or weekend getaways. It’s perfect for solo travelers, couples, and families alike. There’s ample parking, and a shopping center just three minutes away, close to airport, attractions and malls. Thanks Nicki for a memorable first time holiday in SA.
