We are thrilled to have found this gem for our winter getaway with friends in Vaxholm! The location is perfect—conveniently close to the bus, ferry, and with its own parking space, yet wonderfully peaceful. The house exceeded our expectations with its spaciousness and charm. It had plenty of room for everyone and came fully equipped with all the amenities we needed. It truly felt like a home with a soul, making our stay special. Mary-Rose, the host, was incredibly kind and attentive, answering all our questions promptly and ensuring we felt well-prepared for our stay. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient retreat in Vaxholm!

Newly renovated villa stunning lake view 100m swimming

We had a lovely two week stay at Johan’s charming house. We loved waking up to the views of the lake and trees, and starting our days with the most beautiful walks around the lake. It is a wonderful place to retreat, peaceful and surrounded by nature, but only a 25 minute drive to Stockholm. Johan was very helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

Family friendly villa in Stockholm close to nature

3 days in a beautiful and very well equipped house. It was clean and comfortable. Our tall teenage grandchildren would have been more comfortable in the single beds if they had been available. But they managed and we had a really good time.although we didn’t use it, the public transport system was close enough to be an asset. Long walks to Stocksund through the forest and past the lakes were a bonus. The information and help I received from the owners including a video walk around the establishment was invaluable when we arrived and included an introduction to the feathered pets . I would highly recommend it. We had a great time. Thank you.

The architect's cottage on a lovely archipelago island

We had a wonderful time at Max and Idas Cabin. It is perfect for a calm and relaxing holiday in nature. The hosts were friendly, helpful and replied very fast. They also organized a quick solution when the gas for cooking ran out. The place has everything you need: a well equipped kitchen, a Bluetooth speaker. Be aware: you need to bring all your food and if you want to take the ferry from the island, you have to order it in advance. We would come back anytime!

Modern and pleasant holiday home, close to bath.

We spent 3 great weeks in this beautiful cottage. It was noticeable on every corner that the hosts went to great lengths to give us a nice and relaxing stay. There was really everything we needed and there were lots of great hints for things to do in the area. There were also numerous possibilities for everyone - large and small - to pass the time (large meadow to let off steam, plenty of games, ping pong table, beautiful swimming beach with swimming island, boat dock, sauna with impressive views...). We highly recommend this beautiful spot and the great hosts.

Comfortable house near the sea and hiking

We had a nice weekend stay in this cozy house in the countryside that unfortunately had to be interrupted early due to illness. Great nice and very helpful hosts and there neighbors (many thanks again!), made beds and a fireplace that burned when we arrived, as well as lovely surroundings. We walked to the marina and swimming bay in brilliant sun, it took about 15 minutes and it was easy to find. We are more than happy to come back!

We had a great few days in Agneta's cabin, even though we mostly slept and had breakfast there 🙂 The cottage was small but had everything we needed, extra plus because dogs are welcome! Easy to communicate and we got a quick response to what we were wondering about.
