Holiday rentals with a beach view in Hawaiian Islands

Just absolutely beautiful and peaceful! Amazing view from the balcony. Gorgeous decor! Wish we had more time to just relax and enjoy!

We had an amazing stay at this truly unique home! Built in Bali and shipped to Hawaii, the house is a masterpiece of wood craftsmanship, blending traditional Balinese architecture with the natural beauty of its surroundings. The intricate open-air design, and thoughtfully curated details made it feel like a tropical retreat unlike any other. The atmosphere was both peaceful and inspiring, with plenty of space to relax and take in the stunning private environment. Everything was well-maintained, and the hosts were welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind experience with cultural charm, this is the place to be. We would absolutely love to return!

Before we even arrived, Jann was so helpful!! She had an extensive list of recommendations for restaurants and activities. She answered all of my questions and seemed happy to do so. Her place felt welcoming and comfortable. We truly had everything we needed- sand toys, boogie boards, coolers, beach umbrella, etc. The beds were very comfortable! We loved the pool area. We also really liked the location- we could walk across the street to get groceries and ice cream. We hope to make it back one day and will definitely stay here again!! Thank you!!!

We loved staying in the condo . Particularly the view of the ocean from the lanai . We sat there with our coffee in the morning and wine at night. Beautiful gardens around the complex and access to close beaches was convenient.

Our 2-day stay at Jenn & Kristian’s place was exactly what we needed during our 10 day vacation in Hawaii. We really enjoyed getting away from the busy/touristy areas of the island while checking out Volcanoes Ntnl park. The location feels like a secret treehouse hideaway - quiet, pristine, and very homey but romantic (which is hard to do!). The amenities were great, the hosts were very generous with some treats to welcome us, and the neighborhood was extremely serene. Would definitely recommend planning out food options (and grabbing bottled water) ahead of time whether cooking or going out - this area is quite remote which was our goal but may leave others unprepared! Kehena beach is amazing - yes, clothing optional and definitely walkable but wear proper shoes for the climb down. Worth the early wake up for the sunrise on the beach!! Overall, great experience and we would recommend this location for anyone looking for seclusion, peace, and quiet!! :)

This place is exactly as described and more. The views were the best we have ever experienced from a balcony. We saw whales and turtles everyday. Sitting on there balcony is literally like sitting on a cruise ship balcony. You look down and the ocean is right there almost under your feet. If you like ocean sounds while you enjoy the balcony, wait until you go to sleep. They have a smaller balcony from the bedroom with a full slide out door and you will have waves crashing all night. You can slide the door shut if you want more quiet. Stephanie is very responsive to everything and check in was seamless. We will definitely be back.

Our family of five spent spring break at the Surf Shack and it was absolutely stunning! The location is wonderful and the views are truly spectacular. We loved watching the surfers every morning (and were lucky to spot a whale too!) while enjoying coffee from the balcony. Kasey is an elite level host, with thoughtful necessities, lots of locally sourced goods, and a Surf Shack welcome guide. The beach closet is super helpful with coolers, beach bags, beach hats, beach umbrella, snorkel, fins, and goggles. There are also plenty of beach towels. The hideaways beach is amazing and secluded, and a steep mostly paved short walk from the condo. We spent most of our beach days at Hanalei Bay about 8-10 minute drive away, where we also spent time trying the local restaurants, shops, and shave ice. Ka Haku road has a lovely path for running/walking next to the golf course. Thank you Kasey for an unforgettable vacation!

Gal and his team were extremely responsive, answering questions about the property and things to do in the area. The villas are in a choice area, quite easy to walk to various restaurants, stores, food carts, along a handful of beaches in each direction. The pool and BBQ area are nicely sheltered from wind which was fortunate during part of our trip affected by stormy conditions. The only concern for some may be road noise but this is an active part of the Kihei, so most places along this strip will experience the same. We enjoyed the authentic and less sterile part of this town. Overall, my wife and I had a great experience at this beautiful boutique property. We plan to come back again.

Really enjoyed the condo as well as the grounds around it. Both were pristine and beautiful. Especially loved the interior courtyard with its lush flowers and immaculate lawn. I grilled on the impeccably clean gas grills available in the courtyard three nights and loved viewing the ocean with a cold beer in my hand while doing so. Although we didn’t personally use them, there were several lighted picnic tables available nearby in the courtyard that several groups took advantage of after doing their grilling. The only drawback for us was the view of the ocean in the pool area was mostly blocked by a stone wall around the perimeter. Not a big deal for me since I didn’t hang around the pool, but my wife did and it bothered her although it wouldn’t be a deal breaker if we considered returning. All things considered, including occasional traffic noise, ,we gladly recommend Nancy’s place.
