Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Hayward

We have stayed at the FishTale lodge three times. Every stay has been has been great. Tom wants his guests to enjoy their stay and it is incredibly evident. We look forward to coming back next year!

We were very comfortable for 2 nights. I loved that there was a heater and fan for each bedroom for maximum comfort. Mattresses are in great shape. It is small and cozy, but perfect for a family of 4.

My family had a lovely experience at Kyle and Lois's cabin. It was cozy and we cross country skied right from the door, but it was also a very short drive into town, which was really convenient. It was exactly what we were hoping for and we would highly recommend!

Great place! Loved the fully fenced yard for the dogs. ATV trails were super close and my husband fished during down time. We'll be back.

The house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was nicely stocked with cookware, dinnerware and utensils. We woke up to -13 one morning, but it was toasty warm inside the house!! We'll definitely stay again.

Such a magical space! So close to everything and yet so secluded. A must stay!

This place was absolutely beautiful!!! It was so clean and cozy! Had gorgeous views and the house itself was well decorated with lots of tiny little touches that made me feel like I was at home. It made me feel like Laura and Jason designed this home for me!

Had a great quiet weekend at this marvelous place! Was fortunate to have a snow day which just made the views that much more wonderful & was a great excuse to curl up on a couch with the heaters going to make it extra cozy. Well stocked & supplied for any needs that came up if we had gotten snowed in!

We had an amazing stay here! The place looks just like the pictures, its super cute and we loved using the record player. We were plesantly surprised to find a good selection of records and we of course brought some of our own as well! Staying here in the winter was perfect since there is no lack of heat especially with the wood furnace! We only ran into one issue with the shower drain but the host got back to us super quickly and we were able to figure out a solution. I would absolutely stay here again!

my family of 5 drove from Alberta Canada to stay at this cute little water front property, and it was the most adorable little spot to stay. the canoe was accessible, there were smart tv's in the room and living room, full sized kitchen, massive bathroom with laundry (thank you for this). the neighbour's were quiet, the neighborhood friendly and walkable and the water piping hot AND drinkable for being on a lake (drinkable water is a huge bonus if your on a lake). The manager was very friendly and super responsive, easy access and beautiful waters all around. we would absolutely stay here again.

Heidi’s property was just what we needed for adults and kids to enjoy for a week. Relaxed atmosphere and all around a great place for a break away to swim in the pool, rent a pontoon, rent ATVs (trails right off property), fun food places near by, and beautiful scenery of lake and woods!

Great cabin, lots of good space. We used the garage space but it was chilly since it is only a single auxiliary heater. Kitchen had all the supplies we needed. Voyager village amenities are great too, and the club house is an easy walk. The hiking trail right out back is very convenient. We’d happily stay here again!

Despite this being the 2nd year in a row without snow, we had a great time at this cabin! The space was perfect for our extended family. We enjoyed hiking on the trails right outside the back door. We had them all to ourselves! The fish fry at the clubhouse restaurant was very good. The pool, sauna and work out room were fabulous! I highly recommend this place.

Great first get away with my dog. Super peaceful and the leaves were gorgeous! Would definitely recommend!

Host reached out and made sure we understood everything we needed to know before we checked in. Our group had a peaceful gathering and the quite, beautiful location really contributed to that experience.

Had a fantastic time, Wi-Fi was super fast and the scenario was beautiful.

Cool little cottage. Seems pretty new or updated, very nice. Beds were comfortable. Fire pit area with string lights. A mile or so into the woods was good. Silent and peaceful, pitch black at night. But you can still can get back to the highway easily. I’m a tech geek, and the Starlink internet/WiFi was cool and worked great. :) Eric was nice, quick to respond. We had zero issues so we didn’t need to talk much. Check in and out was easy.

Cherri is very responsive which was much appreciated. The place was a little hard to find at no fault of the owners, but once we did we were set for the week. We had a boat lift to use which was a value add for us. There are several stairs down to the lake but the view at the top is gorgeous. Great restaurants to boat and the sand bar is not far to boat the grandkids out to enjoy the lake. Our dog was right at home too. Thank you Cherri and Paul for your place for the week, we had a very nice time.

Thomas’ place was as advertised and a very comfortable. This is the second time we have stayed at this home and would stay again if we are up that way. Communication was outstanding as were instructions. Very nice place and we recommend to anyone going up that way.

Very cozy place for anyone looking to explore smaller towns in Wisconsin. We were greeted by a couple of cute and friendly dogs as well, highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Cassidy‘s cozy cottage! He had a nicely outlined list of things to do and restaurants to enjoy. When we arrived, he had the fireplace lit with a roaring fire. The cottage was warm and just a perfect atmosphere to unwind to after a long drive. Plenty of firewood was left in the shed along with a nice pair of snow shoes to be utilized if necessary. I would highly recommend the Hayward town Forest for a nice snowshoeing experience. In the past we have also snowshoed at the hospital trails and the lake also has a gorgeous shoreline to be able to do the same. I would definitely recommend anyone wanting a Northwoods escape to Cassidy‘s wonderful cottage!
