Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Heist-aan-Zee

We had an amazing stay at Julie's house and felt completely at home. The house is absolutely gorgeous and is in a wonderful location! It's literally a 5min walk to the bus stop which takes you straight into Brugge within 15minutes. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is so stunning. It was perfect, would definitely recommend!

Xavier was very communicative in the build up to our trip. On arrival we met him in person and he was very friendly and had provided good information verbally and in writing about useful shops and directions etc. The place had lots of room, very comfy sofa and beds. Lovely garden. Also some games available at the house. Great location to walk into the Bruges city centre, about a 20 minute walk. Would recommend to others. Bruges is a wonderful city to visit.

An amazingly cosy, comfortable and well equipped cottage. It was very clean, tidy and everything we wanted. Beds were super comfy upstairs while the kitchen had everything we needed in good quality to make a proper dinner. The location was ideal being close to Bruge and Gent but away from it all. Space for a car out front and superb views across the farm. Sauna was a unique added bonus and we enjoyed that too. Vera, Filip and their son were very inviting, friendly and informative. We will be back!

We had a wonderful weekend in the dune cottage! The house is incredibly cozy with fireplace, huge garden in which you can watch the sun come up. The kitchen is full of comforts and so is the rest of the house. 1 big tip for when you are in the cottage in the winter months; bring slippers/slippers/thick socks. Ann is a nice host and ensures a warm welcome. We'd love to come back (but see that the summer months are booked quickly and understand why🤩)!

The house fully met our expectations. The sauna, foosball and table tennis table offer an entertaining pastime. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to walk to the city. The communication was great and easy. Lisa is always friendly and available any time.

We had a lovely weekend with friends. The children thought the pool was fantastic.

We loved our stay. BLISSFUL!!! Something for us at all. Spacious enclosed garden. Ideal for the dogs. For a visit to the beach ( with small children or older dogs) it is best to take the car because it is still a bit of walking to the sea. Thanks to Isabelle's tip, also went to the quieter side of the beach as we don't like the crowds so much. And also much quieter for our dogs. We will definitely be back!

It was great we loved this house so much, and the beach location was so fun.

Super localized apartment - cuistax, dike, beach and shops nearby. It's super convenient to have parking space as well. The apartment matches the photos and description. We also appreciated the fact that it was very hot in the living room (in the middle of winter), the games for the children, the fact that there is a shower and a bath in the bathroom. And the Emma mattress: Confo ++++

Warm hostess, communication was good. Good location, close to everything. Beautiful apartment that is fully equipped. We were sorry that there was no bedding, but this was well communicated, so we were provided ☺️

We had a wonderful time at Christine's place! So much warmth and loving attentions – we have never experienced this before. Christine is a fantastic host who makes you feel welcome immediately. The house is perfectly located: a short walk to the beach and shops. It is very spacious, comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

Everything was fine, just as described! Clean apartment and ideal location. Close to the beach, the Christmas market and the shopping street. Hanne kept us informed of how to get in and she also sent a message regularly during the stay. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Dominique's 5th floor apartment. It was bright & airy & we felt at home immediately. The views are great & the large balcony is perfect for the afternoon sun/sunsets. There is also a 2nd balcony for the sunrise! And you can walk to the beach for these too, in only 15 minutes. The heated swimming pools(adult & baby pools)are a real hit. The large pool is very rarely busy. We loved it! You need to wear swimming caps, but once bought that wasn't a problem, as everyone wears one. They can be purchased in the small office in the pool apartment block. There are shops & restaurants within walking distance. The tram stop & train station are a 10 minute walk. We took a tram to Oostende & a train to Bruges. Fares are inexpensive. Kitchen facilities are excellent, coffee N'Espresso machine with pods & biscuits to start us off! A nice touch. Dominique is a very responsive & attentive host. Beds were very comfy. We had a really great stay. Just book it!!

We had an amazing stay at Sea View! The apartment was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable family getaway. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the seaside, and the views were incredible. Zara was a wonderful host, very responsive, and made sure everything was perfect for us. Our daughter especially loved the kids’ room, which was beautifully set up and made her feel right at home. The parking option made things so convenient too. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely return for our next trip to Knokke-Heist. Highly recommend Sea View to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly experience by the sea!

This is a nice appartment with a magnificent sea view and lots of toys for the kids.

We had a lovely getaway at Ruth's place. Everything was clean and as described, nothing was missing.

We were lucky enough to spend Christmas at Thierry's apartment. Which was decorated in a Christmas 🎄version by the way, so little extra stars in the children's eyes. The apartment is in a very good location, although the facade is under construction (as we knew, we did not enjoy the view) this does not take away from the fact that in 30 seconds by elevator we were on the dike. A real delight. The apartment is tastefully decorated and perfectly furnished. Small rechargeable bedside lamps for the bunk bed, chargers available, a very easy-to-use and comfortable sofa bed with the mattress topper, small coffee pods available.
