Villa holiday rentals in Helsinki

Cozy, spacious and beautiful old house, well-equipped kitchen, gentle steam in the sauna. Nice outdoor and mushrooming terrains around. We had a very nice fall break in Villa Tammiko!

Chi and Joanna were very helpful to make our stay so memorable. There were so many little things that they did to help that made such a difference to our stay. They are very kind and were very quick to help if we had a question or request. They were also very generous with their time and anything in the kitchen, we could use fur ourselves, pasta, rice, tea and coffee etc. It is alos very well located, in peaceful surroundings, just under an hour away from Helsinki, with a supermarket two minutes away. Thank you Joanna and Chi for your kindness.

House is decorated very pretty - feels like you step into a page of a magazine. House as a whole has an interesting design - it's circular, so you literally can have a feeling of "walking in circles" until you get used to it, it's nice though, almost fairy-tale like. There's plenty to read, lots of magazines and books around. The kitchen is well stacked with essentials like frying pans and such. There are pretty glass ware and teacups to enjoy tea from, basically all you need to eat in comfortably. The upstairs bedroom is pretty and spacious. Bed is comfortable and large. The bathtub and sink in the upstairs bedroom is in the bedroom area itself, pretty design. Toilet upstairs has its own section, right next to bedroom, important to notice though - there is no door between toilet area and bedroom itself. There's very good ventilation so bedroom does not retain any unpleasant scents, if you know what I mean, so it is still very convenient. The toilet section is prettily designed just like the bedroom and spacious. There's a sauna (via door from the toilet area), so if you are into that talk to Timo ahead to have it set up for you. Upstairs bedroom also has a small balcony with some pretty wines all over it, large main window. The view over the lake is spectacular, breathtaking trully. To note - you can't go down (at least to my knowledge), as the house is on a steep mountain. The downstairs 2 bedrooms are very simple, small rooms with sliding beds. The beds are comfortable, however when the second one slide out then there's only a small area to walk. It's no problem though, as they're just used for sleep. The tv section is tricky - it has a very comfy reclining chaise, but not much room for other people, so ideally there's just room for 1 person to watch tv, unless you bring in chairs from the dining area of living room. Dining area has a wonderful, huge table, very convenient, comfortable chairs and close to kitchen section. Downstairs shower room - has 2 shower heads next to each other (no partition in the middle), and then there's another sauna room. There's also washer and dryer room. Outside of house is decorated very pretty too - there are multiple sitting areas and the views are just lovely all around. There are also a row of apple trees on the driveway! Very tasty apples! Overall, great experience, good communication with the owner and very well put together place. I would rent there again if I go to Finland. Oh also, there's music system, so pretty much rainy days are no problem - there will be something to do inside. Sitting on the white couch and watching rain over lake view was a profound experience, very calming and relaxing. I highly recommend Timo's house! Thanks Timo and Anti for everything:)

Everything is great, super friendly and pleasant to deal with. We had a lovely week with sauna, hot tub, sup boards and tranquility.

Ann-Sofie's house is really pleasant, very homely and a bit' special with all the old things, the silversmith work table and pictures of his craft on the walls. The kitchen is incredibly well-equipped, we found just everything we needed. There is a bathroom and toilet on the upper floor and another toilet on the ground floor, really practical when you are several people. The sauna outside in the courtyard building is really good with a hefty washing room. The bedroom is big and the beds comfortable but note that only one bed is double. The location is absolutely great for visiting Billnäs Bruk, about a 10-minute walk, and the surroundings are quiet and pleasant. I can recommend !

Jaakko and Jessica gave us a warm welcome, demonstrating great hospitality. Their home, cozy and equipped with every comfort, immediately made us feel comfortable. They also had special attention to our baby, making the stay even more enjoyable. We can't wait to get back!

A stunning, bright, and modern house with a convenient location. There was plenty of parking in the yard. Communication with Minna was really smooth.

We were on the island for the second time in the beginning of the fall, and it was as wonderful as before: exceptionally beautiful, atmospheric, and peaceful.

The mansion is beautiful! Even though we stayed for 2 nights indoor, we didn’t get bored as there are lots of things to do. The kitchen is big and well-equipped. Every place in the house is “photo-worthy”! Would love to come back on summer so we can enjoy hanging out in the balcony.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. The place felt modern, luxurious, and well-designed. The nearby lake was perfect for a walk or a picnic. The Jacuzzi, sauna, and small gym were nice extras, and the mini library was a thoughtful touch. The kitchen was high-tech with touch controls—it took a little getting used to, but the hosts provided clear instructions and even video guides, which helped a lot. Speaking of the hosts, they were super helpful and quick to respond. Overall, a fantastic stay. Would highly recommend!

Samuli's place worked really well for our group of 12. The house is only an hour's drive from downtown Helsinki and has lots of fun additions like musical instruments, a movie theater, a jacuzzi and a pool table. The kitchen is well equipped as well. The only thing to mention is that not all our bedrooms had doors, so that should be considered if privacy is very important.

Our stay by the sea at Johanna’s place was just what our family (4 adults and two teens) needed for our first week in Finland. We enjoyed sauna each evening and beautiful scenery and sunsets. The swimming was wonderful and as it was August, we swam with the jelly fish ( a first for us)! Johanna is an excellent host, very communicative and helpful. I recommend you bring sweaters and warm socks for the evenings. Know that it’s a good drive from the city if you plan to do much exploring, but it’s worth the experience. Magic in the woods it was! Thank you Johanna!

Overall, a nice and clean house in a suburban environment, but close to nature and a lake. It's not a log cabin in the woods, but then again, you've got a good number of services nearby. The kitchen and yard are well-equipped. The host was willing to accommodate an earlier check-in time, which was much appreciated. Keep in mind that there are many rules to attend to (and different fines associated with each infraction) but I doubt these apply if you're a considerate guest.

Very friendly, helpful and informative host, always on hand to help with any questions. Very warm, comfortable - a real home from home. Clear instructions for the property. Highly recommend staying here!

We spent an atmospheric December weekend in Kari's beautiful house on the shore of Lake Lohjanjärvi. Kari was kind enough to greet us and carefully guide the beginners to the secrets of the villa and yard sauna. We can only imagine what a place is like in the summer, definitely have to come back here!

Our family rented Nina’s place for the third time which says enough :) Our stay was perfect.

Just the place to celebrate your 40th birthday with a group of friends. More spacious than in the photos and kitchen. The location is peaceful and there is plenty of room for more cars in the yard. Messaging with Hannele was smooth and quick. A hot tub and plenty of service are for larger groups. I recommend the place! A couple of little ideas for improvement; in the bedrooms, only thin curtains, that is, when on top of the lights, you can see out and the room is bright in the morning. In addition, you had to bring your own toilet paper when only 1 roll per toilet is provided.
