Rustic, historic 500 sq. foot studio cottage comfortable for 2 people but will accommodate up to 4 by request. Located 5 miles above Oakhurst. Only 13 miles to the south ENTRANCE of Yosemite, about 35 miles to Badger Pass ski area, 47 miles to Yosemite Valley and only 3 miles to Bass Lake. Bird and wildlife friendly yard so expect "interesting" surroundings. Eco friendly. People from all walks of life are welcome here. Yosemite Shuteye is as it sounds; a most private out-of-the-way delight of two parts - the yurt connected by cedar decking to a hand-hewn cookhouse with an airy 3/4-bath and a fully stocked kitchen. A seasonal fire pit is a favorite place to star gaze and eat smores to your hearts content. Quiet and very comfortable. The space is yours and yours alone.
