We had a very comfortable short stay at Roger's place. Close to the boat towards Schiermonnikoog. Staying here is highly recommended!

Wonderful to be here. Just coming home. Everything is available for a wonderful stay. Location is great. Close to the boat and town of Nes. And still nice and quiet. Plenty of space to work and relax. Recommended! Also Irma is very friendly. And has tips for beautiful walks, the weather and beautiful sunsets. I'd love to come back again.

Robert is a very kind host. The accommodation looks cozy, is clean and with a lovely large garden on the lake. Breakfast was various good! Glad we could leave the trailer for the surfboard until after the competitions in the garden. In short, a very nice place to spend time.

Lovely quiet, beautiful apartment with an eye for details. Secluded. First time looking where it was, but with description of Ina easy to find.

If you're looking for a place that puts you in the middle of the Frisian landscape, with friendly hosts, peace and quiet, and a good starting place to visit Frisian towns by bike or car, this is it. It's a farm, but the rooms are spacious, clean, and cleverly laid out. Roomy, with lots of games, books, and toys to entertain the family during a rainy day. We may come back in the future.

Beautiful quiet apartment directly on the lake. Very well-equipped and close to the city of Leeuwarden. Nynke was easily accessible at all times. She was very nice and helpful with information and tips. We enjoyed staying there. Petra

Fantastic home where nothing is missing! Bigger than my own house:-). Wonderfully quiet and very sweet people. I was there with New Year and got a delicious oil bulb. My little dog Lily and I enjoyed it!

Our stay with Annemarie was nothing short of amazing. We had the best time at this converted barn . Big enough for 2 people on dead end road with views of the landscape and her horses. Annemarie is a warm and very kind host and she makes sure everything is to your satisfaction. We will often think back about our stay with her and certainly will return. Grietus & Kaylynne

This was the fourth or fifth time staying in Frank and Gisele's house. Every stay is better than the previous one. I feel more and more at home. Frank and Gisele have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable, like rubber bands, batteries and tape in the kitchen drawer among other things. They are super nice and very responsive. It is obvious they love this little house which is tastefully decorated. The yard is lovingly cared for. The cookies, the bouquet of fresh cut flowers and the personal card on the kitchen table were so thoughtful and really made me feel welcome

We spent 6 nights with our two dogs at Marc's place and felt at home during that time. Marc is a great host who is always easily accessible; Bea visited us and helped us with questions. The small house is cozily furnished and very well equipped. We didn't miss anything. We loved sitting on the cozy veranda and enjoyed the great view. The surroundings are quiet, there is a lot of nature and there are many easily accessible excursion destinations nearby. Marc also provides bicycles and a boat, which we did not use. All in all, we were thrilled, enjoyed the time and would be happy to come back.

Our second stay in this lovely apartment, we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. Great central location, lots of space and light from the big windows, good facilities (kitchen, bathrooms) and just a lovely place to spend time. Jannes was great to communicate with and very flexible. Thanks for a lovely stay.

A lovely cozy Dutch coach house, with all modern commodities, snuggled within a classic Friesen countryside of dyke, river and fields. Perfect!

Hagar's house is set in beautiful scenery. Directly at the house is a canal that is great for fishing or watching the water birds living there. The house itself is very well equipped and very clean. Hagar was always available and helpful. My family and I really enjoyed the time and can recommend the place to everyone.

The apartment is very tastefully furnished, everything corresponded to the description. The house is equipped with everything you could need. The terrace overlooking the water and the loungers at the jetty are really very nice.

Stay is in a good location to the city center of Leeuwarden. Museums, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Well cared for stay. Good communication. Nice detail: the photo wall with what the street used to look like. Tip: the Miniature People hiking trail!

Nice locale. Clean and calm. Host very communicative, and discrete. A great place to have a cozy celebration with our grown kids.

Julian is a responsive host. His apartment offers a quiet, natural light-filled home with a very comfortable bed in a modern well-appointed space. It was very clean upon arrival and the washer/dryer was great to have since we had been traveling already 10 days. Julian was very agreeable in getting the key to our daughter who lives in the town since we were arriving very late. What we wish we had known/understood: the apartment is up three flights of a tight spiral staircase; while not cluttered at all it’s clear that it’s the owners living space (e.g. no ability to use closet because personal items were there) and food items were in the fridge and cabinets. Again, not cluttered, but it just surprised us. The listing notes that there’s a private office area (& shows photos) however that was marked private with a closed door and full of the owner’s items. The apartment was very convenient to our daughter’s apt and Julian was very flexible; we would love to stay again!

Fantastic apartment in a great location. very nice hosts, would recommend a stay at this apartment..the area and road to the house is idyllic.

The long weekend in the apartment overlooking the lake was beautiful. The apartment is freshly renovated and we were welcomed with drinks and some treats in the fridge. We were even allowed to borrow the canoe to ride it across the lake. Joke and her husband Martin help wherever they can. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

What a wonderful stay. I was here around New Year's Eve, and the space was incredibly cozy and cozy. Small lights, candles and of course the wood stove! I went here for the silence, and it was quiet. I barely heard any fireworks. Lovely! Linda and Sjoerd are incredibly friendly and helpful. I'd love to come back!
