Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in High Peak District

Irene’s home is very warm and beautiful, nicely themed house with her life experiences all over the world, it was beautiful chatting with her.A very friendly lady, accommodating me last minute, I was also offered a wonderful humble meal , would stay again in the future!

Stayed one night whilst attending a championship Dog show at Stafford Showground. Sarah was very accommodating and helpful from initial enquiries to the actual stay. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful location. Own parking area. Clean tidy rooms. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a god send after all the walks. Selection of cereal in room along with plenty of tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Claire and Robbie were great hosts. Gave us a run down of Castleton and where to go. Friendly banter and made us feel very welcome. They were very responsive to anything we asked. Highly recommend this as a place to stay as it is accessible to so many walks including Mam Tor and Castleton has numerous pubs and restaurants to choose in such a small area so there is always somewhere to have refreshment and nourish after a walking day. Very pleasant host, willing to help. Some negotiation about our dogs, which was resolved. We particularly liked having our own access door to the annex room. The room had everything required and a very comfy bed.

What a beautiful room, and bathroom, in such a stunning house, and wonderfully furnished. The breakfast was just right too. A very peaceful and comfortable place to stay, would love to return.

Maywalk House provided everything we needed and more for our walking break in the Peak District, including a comfy bed, luxurious bathroom and a hearty breakfast cooked by Felicity to kick start each day. It's only 10 minutes' walk from the Miners Arms in Eyam village, which serves good evening meals. Felicity is a great host, friendly and welcoming but at the same time unobtrusive. We'd thoroughly recommend Maywalk House Airbnb.

Had the pleasure of staying at Marie’s residence for 2 weeks. She’s one of the best hosts one could hope for, as she’s very responsive and kind. The place was as advertised, private and peaceful. The breakfast spread was a delight as the jams and honey were organic. Marie and her husband were wonderful hosts and I look forward to seeing them again.

Comfy bed, hot shower and a friendly reception from Anne and other staff in the tea room made for a perfectly peaceful night away; exactly what we were after. A great location for interesting walks from the door - we walked down the valley to Matlock Bath and then on to Matlock via High Tor. Bonsall itself has plenty to enjoy. Superb service at breakfast - delicious food served quickly. Highly recommend.

Great hosts! Wonderful breakfast, perfect and thoughtful local recommendations, very welcoming, cute village location close to all Peak District tourist spots. Would certainly stay here again and recommend to others. Multiple pubs, bakery, and village shops right on the doorstep. Safe, cute, and comfortable place to stay for our Peak District mini break.

Mark was a flexible and easy going host when it came to last minute arrival changes. We were given a wonderful tour, and felt immediately comfortable. location was convenient and central to lots of good restaurants and activities. Decor of the house made it feel wonderfully lived in and cozy to be in, as well as a lot of amenities to make travel less stressful. Clearly a thoughtful host in attention to detail and generosity. Will definitely be staying again, and longer.

As we had such a busy weekend we only really slept here .Steve was an excellent host and very communicative. Breakfast looked great but we didn’t have time to partake due to early starts. We never even had a chance to open the door of the sitting room.! The bed was very comfy & we both slept well. The shower/bathroom was lovely and clean.

Second time visiting and once again totally worth it. It truly was a special short trip made even lovelier by Andrew. The room and kitchenette were spotless and beautiful with such a warm, welcoming appearance and feeling. I hope to come visit again thank you so much! Wish I could give a higher rating.

Jenny's place was a real treasure to find. She made my wife and I really feel at home. Very hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. We especially loved using the pod at the bottom of her garden which overlooked the canal.

Absolutely wonderful hosts and a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Bakewell. The room was lovely and had everything we needed, the breakfast was lovely in the sister venue too and we felt really well looked after. Would 100% book to stay here again on a future visit.

We had a lovely Easter weekend staying at Tracey’s. Tracey couldn’t do enough for us she was very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was clean and the rooms were comfortable for 2 adults, a toddler, a teenager and 2 dogs. Definitely booking again for next year. Thank you Tracey.

Lovely stay, Wendy was a perfecy host full of recommendations for places to eat and made us feel very welcome. Perfect for a weekend away to explore Manchester and the Peak District.

Leanda and Nigel were the most perfect hosts, very caring and kind natured and so helpful, informative, fun, generous and made us feel right at home. Their place is absolutely amazing and would be happy to pay much more than what we did to stay there. Beautiful location, home made cakes that were delicious in the room on arrival was a beautiful touch. Honestly couldn’t ask for a better stay away. The most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. The fact they had a chalk board to let guests know when they were out and what time they were due back was adorable. We couldn’t rate our stay with Leanda and Nigel and better. 20/10 for rating, have already recommended to friends and will definitely come back to stay if in the area. This will be the best stay you have in the Peak District and we wish them all the best xxx
