Motorhome holiday rentals in Highland Council

I had a very nice stay with my children. Everything we needed was there and there was WiFi. The view is wonderful, especially when the weather is sunny. It is a very peaceful place and a good location to visit the main spots around (driving) : the fairy glens (very close), the Quiraing, Kilt rock, the Old man of Storr. There is a small supermarket nearby (driving distance) as well. Thank you very much! Oceane.

To the UK traveller used to campervans this RV is enormous! I was concerned that the shower might be a bit small but it's just the hot water tank that is smaller than a house one (completely understandably!). The shower room is compact but it's a normal proper shower room with a cubicle, not a wet room, and a really good shower. The kitchen is well equipped, although the mini oven and hobs are somewhat gentle on the heat. The RV is both easily heated and cooled. The bed is really comfy. WiFi is strong. It's a novelty for sure and retains a vintage feel. It's not something we get in the UK usually and well worth the experience. Good parking, easy to find thanks to the horse. It is on a main road which is very convenient but might be slightly noisy if you were expecting isolated quiet. Ear plugs were available and a good selection of toiletries, snacks and drinks. It is hard to lock but instructions are provided and in all honesty it's probably completely safe to leave it open anyway.

The cabin is lovely and we especially enjoyed the log burning fire and seating area with comfy swing chair and hammock. Steve was very friendly and helpful. Perfect place to go to relax and Forres is beautiful too.

We had a great few nights on Canna! Isabels caravan is the perfect location to walk to both ends of the island. Isabel came to meet us from the ferry and took our bags to the caravan and back when we were leaving which was really helpful! The caravan had amazing views, was surprisingly spacious and it had hot water and cooking utensils. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, remote and scenic holiday!

What a glorious time my mom and I had at Marie's place! Oh we are so very grateful for the time we spent here. The caravan was was nestled in the most beautiful natural surroundings imaginable with the sheep grazing on the hillside and lambs bounding about. Marie made sure we were comfortable and gave us lots of local recommendations. Thank you,thank you for the most perfect stay!

What a unique place! I enjoyed a couple of nights here. Everything was as promised. In addition, I noted lots of hard work going on to further enhance the guest experience, even though all the existing amenities are fab. I hope to return when next up the North of Scotland. Thank you everyone.

Our host Susan was a delight to deal with and sorted us very last minute accommodation. The caravan is lovely, large, bright and airy with everything you need. Nice large decking which was great for our dogs. You realy can't get any nearer to a beautiful large beach, literally a stone's throw away, which again was great for the dogs. There is so much to do around the area and surrounding areas it is a truly beautiful place. From our initial first contact Susan made everything easy and simple her communication impeccable. Can not fault anything. Thankyou Susan, will be back.

60th Celebration! Had the most amazing relaxing family weekend with the nicest and most accomodating hosts. RV is clean and very well equiped and great fun. Other gym and garden room equally well set up. Great for dogs also to be made so welcome. Andy and Deirde are very accomodating and lovely, kind people and this was so appreciated. Welcome basket, birthday cake and visit from the Easter bunny were so kind and above and beyond! Area round about is very sceninic with great access to Speyside whisky trail and Cairngorms. Even if not out and about garden space is lovely to relax in and sauna,hot tub,steam pod and barbecue were a real treat. Thank you to both of uou for such a memorable weekend enabling 3 generations of our family to hang out together and have a lot of fun. Hope to be back again and would give the very highest reccomendation to anyone considering booking. Don't hesitate!

Conor’s campervan was the best holiday we’ve had! It was exactly as described and was the perfect place for us to come home to for the week. We travelled around Skye and Inverness was the perfect place to travel from - we took the most beautiful route through the Highlands. Conor’s communication was impeccable and he was so quick and helpful in responding. We couldn’t have asked for a better host! Check in was perfect and Conor gave us suggestions for the area we were going to and showed us around the van. We will 100% be back to explore more of the Highlands!

This place is a gem! The location was peaceful, the bus itself was extremely cozy and had everything you would need for the night. Dunia and David were great hosts, easy to speak to, and were very responsive. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Magic Bus and hope to return soon! ✨✨

Such a gorgeous place to stay to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The beach (a short walk away) was a real bonus. Gemma was very helpful and responsive. A great base for exploring Skye. Thank you so much for letting us stay at the shepherds hut.

We had a brilliant few days at the wagon. Beautiful quiet location with an incredible view with easy access to town for supplies. The wagon itself is perfect for two, cosy with the wood stove and very comfortable stay. Lachlan and Nicky were brilliant hosts. Thank you!

We enjoyed a lovely two day stay in Stella. Unique location and accomodation which was very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful bird song to listen to and fantastic facilities for cooking, showering. We really loved it! Excellent bed with high quality furnishings and a beautiful seating area to enjoy chatting and playing the board games provided, very thoughtful touch! We did feel there were lots of instructions and rules to follow which made us a bit nervous at times - although being conscientious, caring and respectful guests these were things we would have done anyways and we totally understand it. It did take away a little from our experience slightly as a few moments in our stay we were having to “think” about things a bit as we were worried to get any of the instructions wrong. That being said, I understand the intention behind it. Overall, we had a lovely stay and created lovely memories. Thank you.

We loved our stay in Skye here! If you enjoy the caravan lifestyle this is a lovely place to stay! So peaceful, quiet and remote with beautiful scenery. Gillian was so helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.
