I had an incredible stay with my boyfriend and we were so sad to leave the peaceful environment. Everything was just like the pictures. We will definitely be back again!

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

The location was absolutely beautiful, perfect for a romantic getaway. The location in the woods was perfect for after wedding photos in the snow! We stayed about 2 weeks and never felt uncomfortable or strained. The only issue I had was no space to unpack bags, but I stayed exceptionally long compared to most. It was comfortable with plenty of space and things to do, especially through the snow. The host was extremely responsive and very friendly and understanding. We loved it!

We had another wonderful time! This was our second year spending a winter long weekend here and we enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin is so cozy and winter forest is beautiful. We enjoyed snowshoeing, outdoor fires and time in the hot tub. We will definitely rent again!

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at a Kyle’s cozy Airbnb for a winter getaway, and it was exactly what we needed. The highlight of the stay was definitely the hot tub, which was perfect for relaxing while surrounded by snow. The snowstorm added a magical touch, creating the perfect winter wonderland right outside the window. The cabin itself was warm, inviting, and beautifully furnished, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed and ensured the property was clear of snow. Overall, it was a peaceful, rejuvenating retreat, and I can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at the cabin on Golden Lake was absolutely perfect! As always, we were warmly greeted by Cindy, whose friendly smile and attentive care make every visit feel extra special. The cabin was already warm upon arrival, and its cozy ambiance welcomed us for a relaxing weekend getaway. We were delighted to find delicious Lindor chocolates waiting for us—a sweet and thoughtful touch! The log cabin itself is absolutely charming, with its 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the cabin was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The terrace offers stunning views of Golden Lake, where you can enjoy ice fishing or skating right outside your door. Plus, we discovered an incredible skating trail in the nearby woods—an absolute must-try for outdoor enthusiasts. We can’t wait to come back again. We had a great stay at Stella’s place! Everything was as described. Comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great location close to Bala and Gravenhurst. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Would stay here again!

We stayed at the Skoot Cabin from Dec 26-30 with our dog and friend from New York. Everyone had an easy time getting to the place and getting in. Once inside, it was really hard to want to leave such a cozy space in the winter. The wood burning stove was an absolute highlight and kept us warm throughout the stay. The place itself had everything we needed and the area around the cabin was perfect for our dog to explore and run around. Kate was super helpful and responsive and provided us with all the info on the place. Can’t say enough good things about this cabin and location and our friend was very impressed with this Canadian experience! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We spend my husband's birthday at Katherine & William’s cabin. The space is super cute and cozy, we felt at home! The surroundings are beautiful and calm, perfect for a weekend getaway. We also took advantage of Katherine’s tips and spent some time at trails and local restaurants, and it was amazing! I highly recommend and it was one of my best Airbnb experiences!

Jim was super flexible as i had a super short notice need for a spot. within 45 minutes he had the place ready to go! Fast at responding. This place is beautiful and secluded! Well worth the price!

Had an absolutely lovely stay at the cabin! Great location and very private. Perfect for our annual Autumn visit to the area to go to Algonquin Park, Huntsville and Screaming Heads. The cabin was well stocked, clean and very cozy... we truly had everything we needed. We were even greeted with a little basket of treats which was so sweet! Our kitty loved staying there as well. Leah's instructions were quite clear and she was very responsive to any questions we had. Our weekend was truly awesome, we would definitely love to come back!!!

This place was absolutely perfect for us. Everything you could possibly need was available and they thought of everything. My only suggestion would be to bring a window fan if staying in the summer - we went during a heat wave and found the fans were super helpful. Rob was very responsive and helpful when I sent messages. We are already looking at booking again because my family loved it so much!

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway , somewhere rustic,quiet and close to water. We found Janet’s cabin just what we were looking for. It was an absolute winter wonderland, so peaceful and private. The cabin is perfect, the beds are comfy with great pillows. Super cozy with the fireplace and throw blankets everywhere. Definitely recommend this place! Our dogs also love the property.

This was our third time staying at the Dream Cabin and each time is better than the last. Roman and Irina are the ideal hosts with their quick response times, easy check-in instructions, lovely hospitality and overall friendly people who never hesitate to answer questions or assist in any way.
