Holiday rentals in Highnam

We were accommodated at very short notice and the house was beautiful lovely surroundings with a gorgeous lake view. The hottub was a lovely night time luxury. There are a number of short or long lake walks and we were a short drive from cirencester to pop there for dinner with huge amount of restaurant choices. The bedrooms slept 6 if us and bed were very comfy. we cooked an evening meal and breakfast and the kitchen was well stocked with all utensils needed. All our communication was fast with clear accurate check in and out details. Thank you again for the short notice we would highly recommend.

Just what was needed to break the monotony of winter. Gorgeous setting, so quiet and tranquil and enough to do should you want. House was as described , perfect location to explore Cotswolds area. Great recommendation for Thai takeaway on our arrival day given the lateness ! Excellent food. The wood fired hot tub was a wonderful addition and clear instructions on how to start the fire and the wood burner inside also . Definitely would visit again. Rob and James were excellent hosts. I cannot say how delighted I really was with this booking. The place was lovely, it has more than you can ever need, everything was there and thought of. The surrounding area is lovely, the location is peaceful and a good place to use to travel. We had a great time and had a very responsive host in Tricia. She was so kind and left a few extra bonus treats for us. These acts of kindness show a true care and extra experience of pleasantness. We loved the house and all the extra things added to make the house complete. Games, toys, hot water bottle, books, many plates and cutlery! Everything you could need was there. The lake is beautiful and the area is great to walk, along with the games room. Seeing the duck and swans in the morning is lovely. The morning view is the biggest treat which you can enjoy in peace.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Great hosts who were extremely helpful and responding straight away when I had enquiry. Lots of restaurants around and loads of things to keep the whole family occupied. Will definitely be back in the summer.

What an amazing place. Everything was spot on, the lounge area was beautifully decorated and very cozy with views across the lake. The kitchen is really well equipped and lots of extras were available which helped massively. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for us... all the beds were very comfortable and well laid out. Bathrooms were great having 3 was a bonus with a toilet downstairs as well. We loved everything about our stay, the location is really good and we can't wait to come back... we give it a ten out of ten !

Superb home, warm, comfortable and spacious. Great host, helpful and attentive with questions etc. without intruding. Nice welcome gifts of milk, cider and crisps. Ideal location for exploring the area and a great place to meet up with friends from around the country. Apologies about the broken glass. Thank you Zoe.

We had a lovely stay here, very peaceful and serene. The place was spotless and cosy. Perfect for a quiet weekend with friends, we all really enjoyed it and will definitely come again. Gina was really helpful and gave clear instructions as well as local recommendations for food
