Holiday rentals with an EV charger in Hikkaduwa

Very good villa for a good price. I totally recommend it. (You need to pay for electricity, I didn’t saw it on the announcement but that’s not expensive per day)

A perfect stay with a lovely family as hosts. Right from the booking to the day of check-in and beyond, Chanuka was very proactive in checking on us, recommending modes of travel, nearby restaurants, and everything! We had a warm welcome by Chanuka's father with a refreshing welcome drink who showed us around the place and offered assistance anytime. Just as a family member would, he advised us to be careful while stepping out at night, offered to cook food, made us feel very welcome and right at home. Meeting and interacting with Chanuka and his lovely family was truly a pleasure. Mango House 1 is just perfect in every aspect with every facility available for a comfortable stay, and is maintained very well with great personal attention. We were even offered an authentic Sri Lankan breakfast and it was super delicious and healthy. I gladly 100% recommend Chanuka's Mango House 1 as the best place to stay in Galle for a loving memory to cherish always!

Amazing villa in beautiful surroundings. The staff on site were very helpful and friendly and helped provide a smooth stay! We were served amazing food both for the morning and evening, a super talented chef for a little extra cost. If we had the time we would have stayed much longer! ☀️

This is a lovely little bungalow, 5 minute walk from a super empty, massive beach! The house is surrounded by plants/ flowers/ coconut and mango trees. The patio area is lovely with ample seating and the sun-beds are perfect for lazy midday sunbathing moments. The area is great for us, very local, peaceful experience but just a short drive to Hikkaduwa or half an hour to Galle… renting bikes or tuktuk is easy if you want to be mobile and Gayan will help you out! Gayan the host was extremely proactive and was eager to show us the area and provide any necessities needed. Very friendly and welcoming. The amenities mostly work well and the air on is fab. Unfortunately, whenever we used the toaster or oven the electric went out so be aware of that. Also if you are looking for more of a completely private stay be aware the host lives in a different house on the same property. So he will be around all the time in the garden ect. Overall great time! Great value!

I had an amazing stay at Dilhan’s place! The house is big, spacious, and really well laid out, making it a comfortable and relaxing spot. The location is fantastic—just a few minutes’ walk to both the beach and the lake, which makes it perfect for enjoying nature. The wildlife here is truly magical. I saw monkeys, incredible birds, and even some animals I didn’t know existed. It’s been such a unique experience being surrounded by so much nature. On top of that, the host has been incredibly nice and friendly, always helping us with whatever we needed. One big plus is the Wi-Fi—it’s really strong, which made things so much easier. Overall, an unforgettable stay, and I’d definitely come back!

Darshaka and his mother are very kind and helpful and we had a warm welcome. Darshaka advices and helped us booking all kind of tours. His mother is an absolute cooking queen! If you want she can cook the most delicious dishes for you or she can give you a cooking class so you can learn and experience Sri Lanka’s local tasts😋. I would certainly recommend this place if you want to feel at home!

The old chilli house really did feel like a home from home. In a great location Kris and his family were very warm and welcoming. Kris is a natural host and had contacts for anything we wanted to do. From Tuk Tuk and Scooter rides when needed to his amazing knowledge of the area. We were so lucky to experience this little slice of paradise. The old chilli house has beautiful rooms, with attention to small, homey details. Do not hesitate to book, it’s a popular airbnb for a reason!
