Waterfront holiday rentals in Hilversum

After I made my reservation I immediately communicated with the hosts. However there was no response. I was a little concerned as I was soon departing for the Netherlands and I have not heard from them. I called the contact number provided on the listing & spoke to Willem. Upon arrival at the property, I had a friendly welcome by Willem, the host. He was kind enough to allow an early check-in due to my early arrival in Amsterdam. The acomodation was spacious, clean and homey. It provided all the necessities needed. The place is in a farmland surrounded with nature. Situated adjacent to the water, swimming ducks, & swans were a familiar sight. Across the distance, were cows, sheep, horses. Beautiful surroundings, it was quiet & secure. It provided me comfort for one month of my stay. There was free parking outside for my rental car. Willem & Anja were kind and friendly. They made sure my stay was pleasant. I would highly recommend this place & would consider staying here again.

Karin's abode is unique and funky. It suits a couple as it is quite small; however, it met the needs of my husband and I. There are public transport options about a 10/15 minute walk away. The internal staircase is quite steep, and we would recommend people that are agile enough to climb them throughout the night to attend the toilet/bathroom that is downstairs. We had a great time and would consider staying here again. xo

Kim's place was lovely and peaceful but it was quite inaccessible without a car. The surroundings are beautiful and the local restaurant was lovely too. The kitchen is really well equipped and the balcony has a great view.

We spent 3 nights in Jock's apartment, a peaceful place with the sound of boats that was soothing. very easy to access, steep stairs typical of the area. very useful and functional spot to stay in. Ability to take the bus to get around.

Irma was a fantastic host! We arrived well before our check in time and she let us drop our bags early. Her place is beautiful with fantastic views and close to the train!

lovely warm place that we loved coming back to after long days of sightseeing. very nice neighborhood with charming coffee bars and restaurants. all in all we are going back. Hans and his place made our visit to Amsterdam one of our best trips.

I had a very peaceful stay near the centre of Utrecht in beautiful surroundings. Evelien is really helpful and everything is as described. I will be back.

We had a very relaxing stay at Anneke's place. The house is beautiful and in the Hot Tube you can relax wonderfully. Anneke is super easy to reach and always responds very quickly! Thank you for the wonderful time!

The house in Aalsmeer was very cozy and largely met our expectations. The location is nice, and the place was clean and well appointed. The hostess was friendly and helpful. A small drawback was the heating, which didn't always work optimally, and the internet could be more stable. Nevertheless, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend the place overall. Thank you for the hospitality!

An idyllically located house with fantastic lake views – perfect for our city trip to Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam. The location is ideal (almost in the middle of the three cities), communication with Jorrit reliable, friendly, fast - and self-check-in went smoothly. Highly recommended for a city trip!

We had a very nice stay at Stephanie's place! Stephanie responded very quickly to our request, so we were able to book the beautiful apartment spontaneously on the same day. It was very clean and cozy, with a great location on the water! The city is within 5 minutes walking distance, which is why a car is not absolutely necessary. Despite being close to the city, it was super quiet at Stephanie's place and you could relax perfectly. The communication with Stephanie worked great at all times and we always received a quick response!

Excellent property that was accurately described. My family loved the peaceful atmosphere. The market, bakery, and excellent restaurants were easy walking distance. Wendy Jane was very responsive to all my questions. Only thing of note is ensuring you have transportation figured out. Relying on Uber can get expensive vs renting a car.

We had the absolute best time staying at Nicolette’s beautiful home! She was so wonderful and made sure that we had everything we needed. The location is beautiful situated with the best river view and the town of Maarssen is just a few minutes down the road. We would highly recommend that anyone visiting this area should stay here! Nicolette is very kind and is a wonderful and attentive host!!!!

Great stay, note there’s no kitchen though

Comfortable, spacious, nicely decorated and good location. Pleasant environment, quiet. We think it would be nice to provide 2 large blankets extra for the winter period and a toaster. A small caveat nevertheless regarding the really small 2nd bedroom when you come to 2 couples. Very good bedding. 🙂Amsterdam is only 15 minutes by car to the parking lot at the entrance of the city and the Europlain metro station. Metro tickets taken from the parking lot allow a discount on the parking lot (€6 instead of €33!) . It's good to know😉Very good restaurant in Abcoude close to the apartment: Jasmyne. Quality Asian cuisine, atmosphere and warm welcome. In short, we had a lovely stay at Max's🙂

We had a lovely time staying here. Harm was the perfect AirBnB host - very responsive to messages, met us for check-in and gave some great local area recommendations. The apartment is very modern and comfortable with a postcard view of the canal. The location is fantastic - everything you could possibly need within a 5-10 minute walk, and for things that are a little further, the tram stop is 200 metres away. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Amsterdam.

Lots of space and great location if you plan to drive around. The view of the canal was very fun to have.

We had a great stay at Joze’s for a short stay in Amsterdam. The apartment was spacious and allowed us to spread out. The neighborhood was great and easy to get to all of Amsterdam’s sites conveniently. It was also close and easy to the airport. Joze was a great, responsive, and helpful host.

Maxime's apartment is very nice and equipped, in line with the photos and very comfortable. Maxime was very helpful and gave us a lot of information on how to get to Amsterdam and what to do. The house is in a very nice location, definitely beautiful in the summer. We stayed at New Year's Eve and it was perfect as a foothold and then visit Amsterdam.l, easily reachable by car in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommended.

Six of us had a great weekend. The living room and dining area were sufficiently large and very nicely furnished. We really liked the location and the view. However, the stairs in the house are very steep. For adults who are good on foot, however, it is no problem. Glad to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this flat! It looked exactly as shown in the photos—clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk from our daughter’s place, which made everything super convenient. Access from the street was straightforward, and the lift to the 3rd floor made getting in and out with luggage easy. Communication with the host was seamless and quick, which we really appreciated. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommend this flat, and we’ll definitely be back!
